I’ve had some soreness in my right wrist (right where the thumb attaches) for several weeks. I didn’t know what the deal was, but after thinking over why this could be, I’ve concluded that a twinge of pain I felt in that area while training a few weeks ago was me pulling the tendon(s).
It’s not bad pain, just a moderate soreness. The big annoyance is that I have to modify how I train. For example, with heavy weighted pullups or rows, I only use my four fingers.
