PRP Injections For Nerve Repair?

I suffered a compound fracture of my Tibia and Fibula. A doctor at a stem cell clinic said stem cell therapy will not help bone repair, but recommended something called ‘Patella Rich Plasma’ injections to help repair the nerves. The injection is about $2000. Does anyone have experience with PRP?

I had ANOTHER doctor, my main orthopedist, tell me to stop injecting BPC157 because it hasn’t been proven in any studies. He also said if I continue to do site injections I’m at increased risk for bone infection.

Tired of all the snake oil and wasted money

I have had PRP done for muscle/tendon issues but never for nerve damage. The $2k you mentioned is on par for 1 treatment. You may require more. Both times i’ve had it done were very successful and only took one treatment.

Most doctors are morons and they don’t wanna think outside the box or even look at any of these alternative therapy’s. I’ve used BPC and TB500 multiple times with success.

This is prob true if you are hitting the bone. When i’ve injected myself i get as close as i can without hitting anything. When the doc that did my PRP does it he rides the bone right into the joint if needed.
Keep in mind any time you put a foreign object into your body your at risk for infection.
