So if a protein shake has 35 grams of protein for two scoops of protein powder, I can match this amount by consuming 5 oz of fish.
I just had the boys in the lab confirm this and that “the bird” >= “the word”.

For you and anyone else: In my view it’s mandatory to have something solid as soon as you wake up. It helps to get your metabolism/digestion going for the day; the earlier you “wake up” your metabolism, the better it is for your physique.

This is false.
Care to elaborate? I KNOW my stomach feels a lot better when I’ve had a solid breakfast and my digestion (having to go numero dos) kicks in as soon as I’m eating solid food. This is not the case when I skip breakfast.
I think it depends on the individual, I can workout without eating in the morning, but I know I feel better if I’ve put some protein into my system before hand.
Some nonfat plain yougurt and Biotest’s Grow! Whey isloate powder (they sell it here) with a splash of water takes about 60 seconds to prepare and gives me over 50 grams of protein.

Having a shake is not skipping breakfast.

Nor does it follow that physique benefits are in accordance with how quickly you “wake up your metabolism”

LMFAO so true! This thread should have ended with this .
One question though If I ate a cunt for breakfast would that be better than a protein shake ? Or am I better off skipping breakfast with a shake and eating a cunt post workout?

I do pretty much exactly the same thing but use a different brand of isolate whey protein. I eat this about 4 out of 7 days a week and I’ll have a Quest bar (these have great ingredients, especially for a protein bar) the other 3 days.
