Question: Should meals consisting of a protein and either oatmeal or fruit be consumed earlier in the day, right up until my workout, and all the meals between the workout and bed be protein/fat with vegetables? This is for improving insulin tolerance and body composition while improving lift numbers.
Also, in the peri-workout timeframe (20 minutes through the time it takes to workout), faster digesting carbs and protein shouldn’t interfere with the above mentioned dietary guidelines if I were to have a workout in the PM, right?
