I’ve currently purchased the following supplements from Biotest.
Caffeine-Free Spike
BCAA’s
Surge Recovery
Metabolic Drive Protein
I also take flax seed and fish oil supplements along with a multivitamin and creatine.
I want to ensure I’m taking these supplements at the proper times to get the most I can from them. I work out at 5am so I’m up by 4:30am. This morning I consumed an 8oz Protein drink w/ milk along w/ 3 BCAA’s and one Spike pill. While at the gym I’m drinking water mixed with crystal light for flavor and 5grams of Creatine.
After my workout I had an 15oz cup of Surge w/ 3 more BCAA’s. I usually have breakfast about 45 minutes later where I will take one each of the flax, fish oil, and multivitamin. I’ve decided to take the final 3 BCAA’s around lunch time and after dinner I’ll take one more of the flax and fish oil pills.
I’m wondering if I could do something different to maximize the benefits of the supplements or the current routine I’m following should work. Thanks for the help.
looks like your doing everything right to me. depending on how your body handles the creatine your on now, you could think of upping the dosage to maybe 8-10g throughout the day. maybe take a little honey pre workout too (2 spoonfulls or so), good sugars and stops your body from taking aminos from your muscles, that and it tastes damn good. this is what ive been told, might want to do some more research on it. good luck
Since my first post here I’ve added two more supplements to my arsenal. Flameout and Carbolin 19. I workout at 5am and I’m usually up by 4:20am. by the time I take my supps w/ a protein shake/creatine mix it’s only in my system for about 15 minutes before I finally hit the weights.
I guess my concern is, am I giving the supplements enough time to digest and work in my system before hitting the weights? After the gym I drink Surge w/ 3 more BCAA’s. I then have breakfast about an hour later and consume the Flameout, Carbolin 19, and a multivitamin.
If anyone can inform me if this schedule I’m on should be productive or not? Thanks.
