I wonder how many people that Jesus called a “loud mouth pagan?”

There you betray your egotism. You take joy not in enlightment of the ignorant but in beating me in a debate, so that your egotistical self can claim victory.
All of the things I say just pop into my head. I would never talk about God or Jesus as ‘the Master’. I suspect that God is speaking to YOU and Chris through me. God does so because he knows that I am not egotistical at all.
I say unto you, watch for the day when the Master of this house returns and holds you two to account. Through me, you knew better but chose to worship false idols (the churches).
The day draws close. Watch for the fire in the sky.
Well… that tactic didn’t work either folks. I’m out. I don’t know of a way to coax this man into fighting like one. He simply will not do it.
How about “not” fighting with him over his beliefs?
"In Atlas Shrugged, I discussed two variants of mysticism: the mystics of spirit and the mystics of muscle, "those who believe in consciousness without existence and those who believe in existence without consciousness. Both demand the surrender of your mind, one to their revelations, the other to their reflexes. " I said that their aims are alike: “in matter - the enslavement of man’s body, in spirit - the destruction of his mind.”

Ah, Ms. Rand explains all this very well!

What does this have to do with your claim?
P.S. For someone who claims they used to be Catholic, you’re not very well educated. Nor, are you very well educated in vocabulary. If it the fate of my immortal soul is at stake, I have no choice and cannot choose wisely…as it is fate. Further, if you were a Catholic you’d know that there is no such thing as fate, as man has free will.

It’s actually Mrs. Rand, but again she get’s it wrong. She was fond of just making stuff up. However, what does this have to do with your claim: “The Catholic Church took a preacher’s words, a preacher who denounced organised religion as seperating Man from God, and used a false storyline about said preacher, to gain power and wealth.”

It was actually Mrs. O’Conner, but I digress…
Let’s put the (alleged) words of Jesus next to church doctrine and compare.
Give away all you have and follow me…to the Vatican Bank?
A rich man can no more enter heaven than a camel go through the eye of a needle…replace camel with that big jet the Pope flies around in.
Jesus would spit on the church of today. He has more in common with Buddhist monks than these jet setting banker pedophiles.

If this prediction is anywhere near as accurate as your economic ones, I doubt anyone has too much to worry about.
It’s utterly amazing how a thread about whether or not a certain group of people are good tippers or not at a titty bar, can be derailed into this mess.

But it’s entertaining, you have to admit.

What’s wrong with my economic predictions? Europe is collapsing, the US is running up trillions in debt, many people think that the recession beginning in 2007 never ended…
If O-blamo wins in November, watch the economy fall off of a cliff.
O-blamo may turn out to be the anti-christ of their legend.

Haha…this is your objection? I am sorry that a City-State having a non-profit credit union is offensive to your otherwise protestant interpretation of scripture. This highly makes me doubt your ex-Catholicness, you don’t even have a basic understanding of the interpretation of this scripture.
It is not actually called the Vatican Bank, it is called the Institute of Works of Religion. Without it, religious orders and charities in countries with unstable banks would jeopardize their funds in banks in their countries to do their acts of charity, &c.
I’m sure you also get upset at the fact that Pope Pius XII hide Jews on the Papal Estates so they wouldn’t be killed by the Axis.
So, because a person buys a ticket on a plane they can’t go to Heaven? Remember this America, according to the Gospel of Headhunter…you fly on a plane, you go to Hell.
And, the Pope is not rich. He does not own anything and only receives a wage. It has been known for awhile that he gives away a good chunk of his wages to the poor and needy (you know something you complain about).

Sure, except they work for him and his bride, the Church and Buddhist monks don’t. Oh, jet setting banker pedophiles? Whom do you refer to? Give names?

Yes, I ask for documentation I am too far gone into my fantasy world. We all know you hate when people question anything.
