Projeted Max ?

Hello Mr. Wendler. First, thank you for your books 5/3/1 & Beyond 5/3/1. They are very refreshing. I purchased both books 5 months ago and have been following a 3 day per week “boring but big” plan since then . I have been training for over 23 years and the 5/3/1 system has helped me break through a few strength plateaus in a short time.

My question is regarding projected maxes. I feel that my projected max is higher than my true max. Is this true for a majority of individuals or Is this due to the muscle fiber type that makes up my body? My muscular endurace seems to be good and my true maxes seem to be poor. Any insight would be helpful. Thank you!

The projected max formula is not for predicting a max, rather it is for comparing rep maxes. 1RM strength is just a small part of getting stronger.
