Project Superhero

Tim, so you’re going to improve Stan, huh?

Good luck!

Personally, I think he looks awesome (or at least he did at the time of this photo).

maybe the problem is that Stan was taking glutamine… lol

Personally, I can’t wait to see how T-Nation will improve not only Stan but Jelena and Gina as well (see photo). If Stan looks this good on his own, what will happen when he will get the full resources of T-Nation at his disposal? This is an exciting time…

Hey What version of curls will give me the ability to fly?

I think that T-Nation will continue to produce high quality articles for a while, I just hope that Biotest doesn’t fully slip into the relm of other suplement companies, leaving the high end suplement area void of products.

We do something with three physique competitors and you act like it’s a matter of time before we stop publishing high-quality articles.

How in the world are those two issues related?

T-Nation has been around for nearly 10 years . . .

Have we ever “sold out”?

Hasn’t T-Nation gotten better over the years?

Don’t you have any faith in TC and me?
You are absolutely right.
I realized after I posted that I should have clarified:

I’ve always thought that sponsoring a few competitors would be a good way to increase sales. But since Biotest “didn’t do that kind of thing” that was cool too, because they were ‘different’ than the rest and didn’t need to prove themselves to anyone else.

I guess it’s just the whole Change is Bad thing, but if there is one supplement company that I have faith in, its Biotest.

Oh yea, and I didn’t articulate myself properly up there. When I said:

I meant for a while at least. As in things aren’t going to change for a very long time, if ever.

Irregardless, T-Nation is one of very few sources which has consistently high quality articles, and seeing as its how the way you want it to be, I don’t see any real reason why it would change.

I guess I was wrong.

I don’t get it.

Oh, never mind. I didn’t see the begining of that add.

Stan is structurally perfect… he’s a Lee Labrada in the making. Once Ronnie retires I think that we’ll see this kind of physique be rewarded.

However EVERYBODY can improve. In Stan’s case it’s mostly a matter of adding 10-12lbs of muscle without affecting his symetry and balance. I would like to see deeper quads separation, a bit more leg size and rounder shoulders. I’m being picky here as we’re talking about what would be considered to be the perfect body by 99.99% of peoples.

New promotion I’m guessing, I pray it has nothing to do with that damn reality show on Sci-Fi.

Good Lord, no!

It has NOTHING to do with the Sci-Fi channel reality show.

I thought it was sort of against Biotest’s mission to sign a bodybuilder to sell supplements. I mean I realize it’s good buisness, but haven’t they said in the past they wouldn’t do this?

Anyhow, this should be interesting reguardless.

You’re absolutely right! Bodybuilders aren’t selling a freaking thing for us. We’re the ones doing the “selling.”

The T-Nation gang of experts is going to get heavily involved in every aspect of this project. These three athletes – one bodybuilder and two figure competitors – are going to make unbelievable progress, like they’ve never experienced before. Our supplements and coaching are on display here . . . and the physiques are the result.

Don’t get me wrong. Stan, Gina, and Jelena are hardworking, knowledgeable competitors. And they’re going to do their parts. But they all have specific problems to overcome before they can achieve their goals.

This project is more about us – T-Nation – than anything else. It’s totally real and you’re going to get to see behind the scenes as events unfold.

Damn, I was hoping to be on a reality TV show.

Oh well, this sounds like it’s going to be very interesting, informative and entertaining anyway, even if I don’t become famous.
^that is just priceless

I will have to hang around more often and slack on the training, things keep popping up while I’m gone

I’ve only been at T-Nation for a short while. I don’t know what it was like before last June or so, so I can’t speak on that. However, in the short time that I have been here the site, products, and information have all gotten better than before. I don’t see this project doing anything but helping Biotest and T-Nation out.

Tim and TC are always classy gentlemen (Except of Fridays), and I expect this will be no less.
