Prohormone Help Please....

Bodybuilders,

I am 17 years old.
I have a question regarding prohormones. I have already researched enough about steroids and I have learnt they are not good for me (under 18 years old), Prohormones is the conclusion I have come to.

I mainly have made up my mind that I need to use something, be it under the counter or over, to boost my muscle gains. I have been training for 2 years now since I was 15 and I have not many reasonable gains, my diet and training and sleep are spot on.

My question is, with prohormones, do I need ANTI-OESTROGENS and LIVER DETOXIFIERS just like steroids? And Prohormones are best for fastest muscle gain,

Help much appreciated.

Well, this is at the top of the page but just so we are clear, prohormones are in no way safer for you than steroids. Some would argue they are less safe. So read through this sticky carefully…

I PROMISE you your diet is not spot on. NO-ONES diet is spot on at 17 and 2 years total training.

Please write a detailed log of your diet and you will leave here with the most anabolic substances on the planet.

i agree… hows school lunch now days? same as it was when i graduated a yr ago? yeah your diet isnt spot on… regaurdless, you shouldnt take prohormones.

Ok heres my diet,

For Breakfast I usually have a big bowl of oats with full fat milk or if my mum is at home she makes me erm how can i describe it, its like a chappati filled with potatoes which I eat with yoghurt.

For lunch its usually 2 frozen pizza’s with 2 chicken breasts and beans.

Pre-workout I take BCAA’s and creatine monohydrate and a load of nuts.

Post-workout is a huge Sub from Subway chock full of DOUBLE meat, more BCAA’s and more creatine when I get home.

Then is my dinner, on Fridays its usually a 10 piece KFC bucket but mainly its Curry with 3-4 chapatti’s, thats more than enough for someone to explode on!

And then its another meal before I go to sleep, usually brown toast covered in peanut butter so it cannot be seen anymore lol and a pint of milk.

I believe that that is around 4000 if not more, calories a day.

There you go… you are right - it IS perfect.

What do i know anyway?

Didn’t Mak post a sticky on this subject? As for the spot on -ification of your diet, umm, well no its not. A bucket of KFC? frozen pizza? Wheres the protein? Rethink the diet before you take the leap or get some bloodwork done to prove that you are in need of an hormonal aid. My two centavos

Dear god, is this thread still going. OP, you didn’t read Maks thread that I linked or you would have just moved on.

Have you actually read anything on this site about diet/nutrition that even comes close to resembling what you are eating? Treating yourself is one thing but come on.

You said you researched steroids and found that they aren’t appropriate for a 17 year old but could please explain where you researched and found that prohormones are appropriate?

These aren’t magic beans and they won’t cure all the problems that a poor diet and a short time training still possess. Want a simple way to start? Go read Otep’s Rippetoe and Berardi’s Massive Eating. Research those for a while.

I have read the link you posted for the sticky MrZsasz, ok my diet is lacking protein and the KFC and pizza’s are out replaced by fish and chicken, but you have to understand im at that age when you just want to be bigger then everyone else your age, I mean I’ve been training for 2 years and I have put on loadsa muscle but like… its not enough.

And im not going to be a teenager for long, that is why I am looking for the quickest way I can be recognised as BIG under a jumper… This is what you have to understand.

Kid - you are too young and too dumb to do anything but eat and train.

The mere mention of the word hormone - be it steroid, or its precursor at your age proves that you haven’t a clue.

Stop looking for s quick and do someworj,

haha

this is all way off topic, the kid asked about prohormones and we all know the answere is a very simple and very stern, NO!!! trust the vets, and leave it at that. now if you want to talk about your diet you are in the wrong forums, supplements and nutrition is where you need to gain your base knowledge right now. good luck, and lift smart.

thanks guys i have a lot to learn, i will be staying away from anything that effects my endocrine system, and will be spending a lot more time doing my own research in the supplements and nutrition forums, you have brought a lot to my attention, thank you again

lol

Think nothing of it. Give it a few more years.
