Programme critique

I am a complete beginner so I’m only aware of the more famous types of programmes, 5x5, 5/3/1 etc. I stumbled across this guy on YouTube and his methods seem to go against the more well known (as far as I know) programmes. He even applies it to beginners, the only beginner programmes I know of are usually linear progression. Was just curious what more experienced people thought.

If you’re a complete big inner then just focus on being consistent.
I’m not gonna watch that video but the title itself implies injury.
Work within your capacity. Use a proven program.

I don’t blame you, he waffles.

That is what I’m doing currently. I’ve been doing an LP and cannot make progress on my bench (I have safety rails now and push it until I can’t lift the weight so I think I’m just badly built for it, long arms etc) so I’m thinking about moving to a 4 day 5/3/1 when my squat and deadlift stop going up.
