I heard that when Professor X claps, he doesn’t use his hands. Rather, he finds the two closest people and slams them together repeatedly.
Or maybe that was Chuck Norris. They’re both from Texas, so I tend to get them confused.
That reminds me of Jim Rockford’s famous quote…
The annoying hippie chick in the show, at one point says, ‘But what is the sound of one hand clapping?’ Later in the show, she receives a well deserved bitch slap, and Jim says, ‘That’s the sound of one hand clapping.’

Yes, it takes a big man to be tough on the internet.
Much respect.

I think this is more the nonsense of what vroom meant.
It’s not about how “tough” his posts are (unlike a lot of the fools who come on here thinking they are all that and cannot back up a damn thing without being a flaming troll) He has well-thought out posts and defends them rather vociferously. THAT’S why people respect him.

What’s with the not so subtle hack and slash on the Prof?
Grow the fuck up.
Give him a break Vroom, he didn’t know this was the bend over and kiss the Pros’ ass thread. Damn there are a lot of groupies in here. Where the hell is the door! Let me out!
Also: anyone that states Professor X is “hard” all the time is ignorant and really doesn’t get the jist of his posts.
He gives credit when credit is due. Also while many of his posts are embedded in sarcasm i haven’t ever seen him deny constructive criticism or advice when asked.
Nor does the man ever flaunt what he knows. He doesn’t feel he needs to present his credentials; his written word is often strong enough.

I usually find the profx’s posts to be well thought out, informative, and usually they give me a pretty good laugh.
I concur with the powda.
Who cares?! While his posts may be well thought out that doesn’t make him the guru some of you think he is. This is the internet. He could be an articulate 110lbs English teacher or librarian. Why is he on this board so much? Doesn’t he ever train or have life outside the computer? Think about it, what does you neighborhood computer geek look like?
Let’s just give him the benefit of the doubt though. Let’s say all his stats and creds are true. I still don’t see why he insists on berating people. You can teach without condescending and correct without disciplining. Why does he feel the need to make others feel bad? To make himself feel better?
There was a different post that metioned all the bad mouthing and insulting going on. Disc Hoss mentioned something about it too. P.X. is the prime example of what they were talking about.
He’s just a guy with a lot of time on his hands using it to regurgitate the information that can be found on this site in a spiteful and condescending way.

Actually I’m going to unravel the mystery! Professor X made a post once about how and why he posts so much…
It went something like this…
“I have breaks in between patients while my assistant preps the room. It’s in that time that I make my posts. And since I can type something (it was a longish post) like this in 2 minutes it doesn’t take me very long to compose something.”

And how long have you two been dating?

You’re an ignorant fck. Powda is simply giving us his point of view of what he thinks about ProfX and I happen to agree with him as do many others. And for this you share this "ignorant as all fck" comment?
