Prof X, What Do You Eat?

Let’s everyone ignore this man. He’s almost 50, and kicks your ass, but hell that doesn’t indicate shit does it now?

Have a bowl o’ this.

I have had health concerns in the past, and I got absolutely obsessed with “eating healthy”. Ironically, now that I don’t worry too much about it, and I researched the subject more (yes, even the government conspiracies lol), I am much healthier than ever - that’s eating a diet just like the one you mentioned above.

I’m not saying that veg etc is unnecessary, just that you shouldn’t stress out about it:

“I ate a red fruit portion yesterday, and today I ate another red fruit portion when it should have been green…oh no!”

OR

“Damn it, I only ate 10 portions of fruit and veg this week when it should have been 20+!!!..I’m not going to live very long now :(”

People tend to forget how beneficial other foods are (e.g. Beans, Oats, Tea, Nuts, Eggs…yes, even Beef! gasp…)…these types of foods somehow are put to the back and somehow viewed as inferior to fruit and veg, which is simply not true.

Easy buddy, easy boii! My post wasn’t directed at you. I actually wish you would post more often, but not if you’re going to be so bitchy. I mean don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind bitchy but I usually expect that from something with boobs. Do you have boobs?? if not I’m definitely not putting up with your shit Mr.
Thanks, but why the fuck would I post more often? So everything I say can be twisted out of context in an attempt to make me look like an idiot?

Now this is the worst thread ever, and closed minded, stupid people like me don’t listen to what others who have accomplished goals have to say - right, that’s exactly what I’ve been doing this whole time. Absolutely…

Seriously, there’s no need for me to ever post anything again. You really need to just listen to X and a handful of other guys around here and you’ll know everything you’ll ever need to know about bodybuilding. That’s not sarcasm - I’m totally serious.

I just started to post a bunch again after a long lay-off, but why bother? It’s not an open, honest, respectful discussion. It’s condescending, sniping remarks designed to undercut my credibility. Now X is going to question my work ethic in school? Yes, my 3.5 gpa and honor society membership must surely mean I’m a total fucking idiot with no valid points to make.

Like I said numerous times - I never once in this thread attempted to tell X what he should or shouldn’t eat - end of story.

Srsly? PX mentioned he eats potatoes, there is vitamin C in potatoes. No scurvy. I’m not a science student but I’ll willing to bet that there’s vitamin C available in plenty of food other than fruit or vegetables. People in this thread are acting like every single magic vitamin, minerial or (phyto)nutrient are each only available from one food.
Do you people actually read before you post? I mentioned NUMEROUS times that most of the vitamins and minerals found in fruits and vegetables can also be found in other food sources.

Do you have the reading comprehension of a 1st grader?

How scholarly of you, enjoy your prostate cancer at 60… I mean really, if anyone is arguing with SkyNett’s point, that’s sad.

I think some of you are just taking things out of context.
Wow.

It is likely that if you simply live long enough that you will eventually get prostate cancer. That is how prevalent it is…no matter how much fruit you eat.

Wishing it on people is simply ridiculous especially if you think you are immune.

I eat 1-6 cups of veggies every day right now, rarely fruit, I take a multi vitamin and mineral supplement, eat a handful of different carb protein and fat sources each… and I don’t care if other people don’t or think I’m doing something stupid.

This is the exact same argument you could use with “Oh I know a guy who drank, smoked everyday and lived till 90! He was fine!”

A different person may not have that same effect. “I know a person who never drank or smoked and died of lung cancer at age 40”

Whatever the arguement you want to make we are all not like bwhitwell…good for him though that it works for him.

Actually, Beans, Oats, and nuts are all fruit. I think this is the part people forget.

My usual routine is :

tenderizer
Garlic salt
Salt Grass steak seasoning
brown sugar

I then add a dash more garlic salt and steak seasoning while grilling. This usually has the room smelling like a steak house every time I thaw one of these out and microwave it.
I just cook it, salt it, and eat it.

I also wanted to mention this is definaetly a retarded thread, everyone here sounds like a bunch of whining kids. Eat your veggies if you want to. Veggies and fruits ARE GOOD FOR YOU PERIOD. There’s no arguement about this so everyone shut the fuck up lol. YES you can get vitamins and minerals from other foods as well. If you are worried about health in the long run and whatever then it’s probably a good idea to throw in some fruits and veggies here and there. You don’t have to be crazy about it…how hard is it to eat an orange?
Vitamins and minerals decrease inflammation in the body…all types of berries are great for you and there’s no arguing anything of these things.

In regards to the original this thread was supposed to be about what he ate and blah blah blah…SO WHAT if he doesnt eat enough veggies or whatever to everyones standards, he does what works for him, and bodybuilding in general isn’t the healthiest sport…

Eat your fruits and veggies if you want to…I eat mine cause I like fruits and instead of having a retarded plate of rice I rather have half a plate, and then a couple pieces of fruit.

Those Acai Berry smoothies are the shit! Apparently thats all they eat in some parts of Brazil and thats where all the victoria secret models come from… They make normal looking chicks super hot so if someone who is a “bodybuilder” eats them all the time Imagine the possibilities!!!

^^This!!!

Everyone is different. Everyones body reacts different to different food/stimulants. Figure out what works for you and what helps your body grow/stay healthy and quite telling someone else (who obviously has figured out what works for them) what they should do. Whatever works for you might not work for me.

Just read what other people do and take something from it that might apply to you or help you. Dont try to crack an egg of knowledge all over someone else unless they ask for your help/critique

lol, now that’s funny

PX: I eat eggs, several pounds of beef, rice, FINiBARs, and MAG-10
Me: PX do you eat veggies or fruits, or did you just leave them out of the post?
PX: riddle me this, why should I eat veggies and fruits
Me: phytochemicals, vitamins/minerals
PX: Where did I say I don’t eat veggies

christ people. If the man had simply answered the question rather than being a smartass, it wouldn’t have blown up like this. I think that’s pretty simple.

Are some of you experiencing some strange reading comprehension phenomenon?

Like I have written before, no matter what I write, all some of you see is “hamburger”.
Lmfao, haha this was so funny.
