Prof X, What Do You Eat?

I can’t believe this debate went on without someone posting comments from the true expert in this field.

I mean this guy has at least “15 lbs.” too much muscle. Clearly his diet is paying off!

Here’s his website if anyone else wants to find out how to be huge like Tim!

Meh I’ve read here or there about prof x commenting on having some fruit on the weekends. I usually don’t really care to write or remember exactly every little thing I eat, I just go by what I feel is necessary at the time :). He mentioned he eats broccoli and potatoes. I think he’ll be OK!!!

I’ve been getting all my phytonutrients and put on 9 lbs of LBM and am down to 4.5% bodyfat… you guys skimping the vegetables don’t know what you are missing.

I haven’t had any fruit though… perhaps my results would be better?

This has to be one of the worst threads ever and I know I’m not helping here but I find it hilarious the obsession with PX and the controversy he creates with even the slightest deviation from what is “supposed” to be the right way to do things.

I wanna know where he’s hiding all that muscle.

Why do you ask him what his diet is to flame him about not eating enough veggies. If you feel like you need veggies, eat them.

He doesn’t…

Though the blood work question does interest me too.

And I lol’d at the ‘Does ben know about jerry?’ comment. Good work, sir.

LMFAO @ small child

Professor X,
you said you eat three steaks a day, but what do you do about carbs? you mentioned pretty much just the meat (sry if i missed something else)

I know its a long thread but its pretty rude to not even read the first 3 or 5 pages and ask questions. Said rice a few times. And pizza and burgers and wings. AND he said he eats broccoli.

yeah i think he said that on page two or three… Eats a one pound steak and if he’s still hungry he’ll throw down rice cause its more filling than a bowl of lettuce.

Sorry about that I misunderstood, I saw he mentioned rice but I assumed he ate more carbs than just the rice with his steaks. Dang I didn’t even think of pizza and burgers and wings as carbs.

As far as I remember, I think (currently while cutting) he has one or two “cheat days” a week where he has as many carbs as he feels. Other than that I think he stays low carb.

Where has PX gone anyway?..think all the “spinach and fruit freaks” have put him off coming back lol

was this supposed to be sarcastic and I just missed it?

Do you eat deez?

Good start to the thread, then it just went downhill. Seems the real take-away here was pointed out by lewhitehurst at the end of page one.

Professor X seems to eat just like he works out, by feel; autoregulating if you will. I think this speaks volumes about how well he knows his own body.

So far, the advice i’ve taken from reading what guys like X and Lewhitehurst say, is that I’ve tried to better understand how my own body responds to diet and exercise. The answers cannot be found on an internet forum, only by trial and error.

Like I have written before, no matter what I write, all some of you see is “hamburger”.[/quote]

haha, I love this reply. I agree.

Oh joking man, tried to make a “Poliquin” style claim to something that people were making a big deal about. Today is a low carb day for me and I’ll have 4-6 cups worth of green vegetables but besides the fiber and keeping me full(er) I don’t think veggies are making or breaking anyone’s progress fat loss or muscle gain wise. I believe that was the point here was that people were acting like he’d have better results by including those items more in his diet.

Health? Different story but only blood work and other quantitative data would show that for sure for the individual.

BUMMER!!!I heard in the news that the price of beef will “skyrocket” soon due to the draught last summer and all the ranchers keeping their herds small. I have incorporated more red meat into my diet since this thread started and I can feel a difference as far as muscle fullness and intensity in the gym. Maybe I just feel like more of a man downing steaks instead of chicken.

This whole thread proves the point that people get to caught up in the minor things as opposed to simply putting in the work. I got some legel notice in the mail from 24 hr saying that I am entitled to a free 3 month membership. Might have to take advantage of it and come train at your gym Prof X.

Did you see that guy? He’s lying about the nuts. Oh yeah! He eats the nuts and if you’re not careful he’ll try to eat yours.
