haha some of the comments made in this thread are hilarious. I hope it doesn’t die down though cause everyone is starting to realize it.

You put peanut butter on steak? I’m not sure I’m okay with that actually.
Something I learned from my grandfather: you can put whatever you want on whatever you want, as long as you eat it.
^ your grandfather is clearly gay…
At a conference with a guy from work.
I didn’t bum on his being vegan. But he bummed on me getting a couple gallons of milk and cottage cheese.
He mentioned the China Study, and living longer… It was all I could do not to say that I would rather have a shorter life span then look and smell like a girl…
Don’t get me wrong, I like the way girl’s smell… It is just wrong for a guy to do so…

I eat according to a caloric need. I do not count calories. I do not count out specific amounts of protein. I am also not an idiot so when I write that I do not count them it does not mean that I have no concept of what I am eating. It means I do not need to be that specific BECAUSE I know the human body better than most of you…and what I know with absolute certainty is that there are so many variables involved with gaining even one pound of muscle that anyone trying to literally calculate out every single step of the way will likely hold themselves back rather than get ahead of everyone else.

This, right here, is the nugget you guys need to get out of this thread. No need for anymore questions and comments.
I agree, which is why I quoted it and asked some questions about it in my first post on the first page.
FFS, you go to sleep on the other side of the planet and when you wake up, what seems like an interesting and informative thread turns into a complete clusterfuck…
So, again, Professor, if I may, here are the questions from the first page, if you are still following this thread:
I was wondering if you wouldn’t mind talking about this a little more. I’ve come across these kinds of statements a lot in my time of lurking, and I’ve always been curious. How did you learn to eat intuitively like this? What kinds of cues does your body give you? How did you figure out how to read them and make the necessary tweaks to your diet?
I ask because I’m interested in learning how to listen to my body, and always appreciate pointers from those who know.
Thanks for your time.
And from the OP that would be interesting to hear your take on:
Again, thanks for your time.
this is hilarious
what was meant to be (I assume) a thread about how a big, strong guy eats - its instead become a fucking argument over the benefits of vitamins in fruit and vegetables.
im surprised X even bothers to answer most of the shit in here
are you all natural?

My usual routine is :
tenderizer
Garlic salt
Salt Grass steak seasoning
brown sugar
I then add a dash more garlic salt and steak seasoning while grilling. This usually has the room smelling like a steak house every time I thaw one of these out and microwave it.
I just cook it, salt it, and eat it.

that or you are lazy, or don’t know the power of good marinades. How about some creativity… you know to try and spice things up?
Okay, lets review.
Animal something or other started this thread by saying that Prof X was quite beefy, and had a beefy butt. And wanted to know what he ate to create such a beefy butt.
X responded by saying he ate cows. I think he said something about molesting them first because it tenderizes them.
Anyway people became worried about his ability to poop, and asked about fruits and veggies.
Prof X assured everyone that he takes fiber and poops just fine. To verify this he sent everyone a PM with a picture of him dropping a load. (Well I hope I wasn’t the only one who received this picture.)
coutntingbeans suggested he uses another fiber because kept his clean and tasty.
Big V brought up scurvy, but again Prof X said not to worry, because he has no teeth, and proceeded to take out his dentures.
But he did mention that eating this way gives him green pee. (Or was that green tea?)
I think somebody mentioned bunnies. (Or was that photochemicals? I get those two things mixed up all the time.)
Then X mentioned that all the pooping has made his pants hang low, where I say, get a freakin’ belt. (Or empty out those pants.)
Now I may have paraphrased, just a little, but hopefully we are all caught up.
Suddenly, I’ve got the urge to eat some fruit and vegetables
…wish me luck

YOU PIG!
Kerley, what do you eat?
Probably too late in the thread to mention, but what of Eskimo diets? (or at least their diets up until we started shipping cheerios north…)

Surprising where you can end up finding ‘essential’ nutrients.
I’m certainly not advocating this as a bodybuilding type diet, but simply pointing out how adaptable the human body is to the environment it has to survive in and that meat does not only equal protein and fat.

Yes, grains are a fruit. Fruit is nothing but the reproductive part of a plant. A grain is a fruit.
So are beans and cucumbers and tomatoes and yes, even professor x’s rice is a fruit. I know this may be mind blowing.
As a general rule fruits are a good source of nutrients for health and wellness. But I cannot understand why people only think that applies to the sweet ones. A fruit doesn’t have to be sweet to have the good fruit stuff in it. Why does the fruit of an apple tree count and not the fruit of a grass plant?
X, how is your cholesterol level in blood, after all those years?

1 gallon of ben and jerrys a day.
