American football and rugby will never stop sucking their own dick about which one is the more violent and virile sport anyway.
I’ve played in both, and I’ve seen terrible things in both ahah

It was an American joke. I actually like playing soccer (played in HS). I will watch high level soccer like the world cup (as well as other sports championship games), but don’t watch much other than that unless I am at a live game. The only sport in which I watch regular games is American football. I just like the violence I guess.
I don’t have anything against non-American football (other than the taking a fall stuff. I absolutely hate that, and think it should result in a year ban). I just don’t get into it like most Americans.
Unlike the Imperial System, where you have Liberia and Myanmar on your side, on this you’re pretty much alone.
I am all for ditching the Imperial System.
I could potentially get into non-American football (writing non-American to be obtuse), if others around me liked it.
I do really think they need to fix the taking a fall thing though. Not a lesson I would want my kids (if I had them) to learn from a role model. It isn’t the only sport in which this occurs, but it needs to be eliminated from all of them.
Ok thanks for your opinions guys, I guess looking at it shirtless photos on your own can make it easier to appear bigger when you are in fact just leaner.
Don’t get me started on Adama Traore though, his claim to not even do resistance training is the most obscure about him. Also if anyone doesn’t know, Wolves (his team) have a member of staff who baby oils him up before games so players can’t pull him back
Also a Liverpool fan! Have you also seen Keita bulked up a bit during lockdown?
Didn’t know about the baby oil. Reminds me of the wrestling in India where you oil up your groin to stop legal grabs.
Good to see another red on the forum. Keita bulking up is good news, still believe he can add something if he stays healthy.
I’m worried about Messi arriving at the Etihad.
Yeah it will do Keita good and he could be important for us this season.
I’m not too fussed about Messi, I don’t think he will leave Barcelona anyway but city already have a toxic vibe going on and I think Messi would add to that
I for one am looking forward to another “heartbreaking” CL exit, only this time with Messi’s characteristic downtrodden gaze.
Pep on his knees on the touch line again !
My personal favorite is the disallowed goal against Spurs in the CL quarterfinals last season, but I’m willing to settle for Sterling’s miss this time. Shame the stands were empty due to Covid, I would have preferred more people witnessing the agony this time around.
I’ve tried to avoid shadenfreude, but it was very difficult this season. Sterling, 8-2, neymar upset. All too much.
It’s not a clear cut case but if I had to bet, I’d put a hundred on “Steroids”.
With steroids, it all makes sense because as a pro athlete it’s child’s play to add mass. His talented metabolism is already on overdrive and all the negative sides are mitigated. He’s adding just ~15 lbs of quality muscle to a starved, superdefined body while still having the drive to run around in circles for hours.
