I was taking proscar for about 4 months with great results.I then decided to stop because me and my wife were going to have a child.I didnt want any kind of drug in my body
during conception.So we wait for about 4 months just to make sure I am clean.
My wife is now pregnant and I am wondering if I can take my proscar again?
Even if I can ,I dont know if I would .I’m
just scared of anything hapening to my unborn child due to my vanity.

Whatever you do, don’t let your wifey touch the pills! That would have an adverse effect on the offspring! She musn’t even handle the pills and just to be on the safe side discard the pills from the household. I think it was Duchaine who said that DHT is the regulator of the size of the genitals during the nine month period. Have fun trying!
The deal is this…proscar inhibits DHT production. Good for male pattern baldness, good for decreasing T breakdown. Bad for pregnant females…why? Because, DHT is required for fetal sexual development, as well as other things. Imagine having a boy (genetically) that is unable to develop physically into a male b/c his body is unable to produce testosterone/DHT? So, you can take it…but your wife shouldn’t get around it (ie handling pills/broken or otherwise).
