Pre-Workout Meal

So from my previous post I was told to take 5g of creatine before my workout…what else should I eat/take before my workout begins to most affective? heres what I am planning to do…30-60 min before oatmeal or bananna…30 min before 20g of protien and 5g of creatine

if it helps I mostly work-out either in late afternoon (4pm) or at night (9pm)

you just wanna make sure you have some protein, complex carbs, creatine, and throw in some BCAAs

Dont eat to much and you’ll be fine

IMO, pre-workout meal is not too important. If I lift too close to eating I vomit.

I would just eat the carbs and protein at the same time ~30-45min before your workout.

I normally take the BCAA during and after the workout. with my post workout shake.

As far as Creatine goes…there are those that take it pre and those that take it post. I’m am with the post group on this one. Can’t remember where I read it that post was optimal but there was a study…go figure.

I like some oatmeal mixed with whey 1 hour preworkout then I take some bcaa just as I walk through the gym doore!
