In regard to carbs pre-workout what would have a larger impact on blood sugar levels, 50 g of fruit (Apple,plums,berries,orange) or 50g oats?I had read that the oats would but, would it not be the fruit due the carbs being for the most part sugar.

Simple carbs are going to be better immediately before a workout. IF we are talking a couple hrs before, id say complex (oats). So if its like a 30min > prior or something, id say Bananas would be your best bet.
