I was wondering whats the best thing to eat before going to bed. Right now im eating some peanuts and almonds about 30-45 minutes after taking my zma.
Here’s my pre-bedtime ritual:
30 mins. before I want to fall asleep, I take 3 caps of ZMA (on an empty stomach, of course).
Then, after 25 mintues have elapsed I go into the kitchen and mix up the following:
- 1 scoop Metabolic Drive
- 2/3 cup low-fat cottage cheese
- 1 Tbsp natural peanut butter
- A pinch of cinnamon
Then I eat it, brush my teeth and hit the hay. I sleep like a baby everytime.

Damn that sounds good
I take my ZMA, wait about 30 minutes and mix this monster up.
2 cups chocolate milk
1 scoop whey
1 scoop casein
3 tbl spoons natural PB.
1 tbl spoon flax.
handful of walnuts.
Tastes like a reese’s cup.
It gets kinda thick sometimes.

Add in 1/2 cup of water if it get’s thick. You can thin it out without adding any flavor/calories. I do that sometimes with a bunch of different Metabolic Drive recipes.
1 cup cottege cheese(1%)
2 scoops whey
1 scoop soy
spoonful of peanut butter
splash of milk
maybe 1/2 cup whole oats
I sleep for 10-12 hrs so I wake 6 hrs later and have another one of these.
