Nice looking lifts. Looks like a good first meet. I would recommend working your way into a tighter shirt though. I like those 1-ply F6s (was that a F-6 or Fury you have?) but you really need them tight to get the good carryover.
Nice debut! I like your technique on all of the lifts. Very efficient with no glaring weaknesses. You have a great foundation of technique to build on.
You are sitting back into your pulls much better this time around. Still not crazy about the soft set-up but it seems to be working.
The only thing I see is you are still kind of running out your squats. Stand up with the weight and let it settle for a one count before stepping back.
It looks like you cut that second squat. What happened on the third, or did you miss your opener and that was the third?
Everything looked good to me. Was that an IPF meet or another Federation?
Also it seems to me like you make kind of small jumps in weight, personally I make bigger jumps most of the time (5-10 kg on bench and 10-20 kg on SQ/DL) but maybe that is just me, you have to find what works for you. Good luck with it.
to let the bar settle 1 second before i step out, i will try to do in the future.
it was an ipf meet.
the 1st attempt in the squat i smoked at 235kg, but it was not on video.
the 2nd attempt at 250 was rather easy i think.
the third attempt at 255 was also easy, why i cut it short i have no explanation of. perhaps because i have never been on those poundages before, and that i have not enough routine. i think strengthwise i could have done at least 260 in this meet.

No question on the 260, strength looked great. Keep hammerin’!

Thanks a lot!
Yes I am very inspired now. I am already doing the smolov base meso cycle for front squats and mini smolov for bench - but i bench only two times a week and not four, so i will use six weeks on the mini smolov, and not three as in the original version. my body will have a hard time benching four times a week, as i already have a shoulder issue.
