i know these arent crazy radical changes but ive only been doing cardio about 6 days and just now getting my diet in check, this is my first time ever trying to lean down, and im pretty happy with the results, i can see more veins everywhere, even a few coming in my obliques/abs  and more muscle seperation, i feel im on the right track and look forward to seeing abs lol its always been a goal of mine! btw these pics are carb depleted, empty stomach this morning before cardio! Thanks guys!!

@ parsley I trained at a private gym called guerrilla squad barbell look us up on YouTube, freaks, we used westside methods, two of our members are now AT WESTSIDE and kicking ass, Brandon Lilly and Jake Anderson, Jake squats around 1100, benches 800+ and pulls 865, we also had the best raw 242 lifter in the world Adam “hulk” hires freak, totals 2,000+ raw, along with other great lifters like Corey Hayes, matt sutton, Kyle jones, chris Slone, Robbie burns, Keith parke, John Webb, I actually trained at westside a few times. We had max effort lower day, max eff upper, speed lower speed upper, everything we did, EVERYTHING, was to improve our squat, bench or deadlift, we picked a main movement worked up to a Max single then trained accessory movements to strengthen weak points in those lifts, so for me a typical day of squatting would be, straight bar box squats against 200lbs chain and green bands, work up to a single, then Olympic squats, reverse hyper, glute ham raises, 45 degree hypers, and abs, hope that helps bro![/quote]

Awesome man thanks for your reply, im a bit of a beginner still but i think i may be looking more towards powerlifting than bodybuilding but right now i’m not completely decided. Anyway i’m trying to learn all i can so once again thanks for the in depth reply. However after a couple pulled/strained groins i think i need to bring my stance in a little bit to shoulder width or a tad narrower, which would be more olympic style i suppose?

Yeah that’s Olympic squats bro/ how is your core strength? Abs/lower back? That could cause your groin strain, also you have to HAVE TO stay TIGHT AS FUCK as a powerlifter, your back should be arched hard!!! Torso straight up and down! Blow out on your belly hard and hold your air until you’re at the top! Spread your knees and sit back so the angle of your shin is straight up and down, hope that helps, Jake Anderson always told me chest up, imagine you have a glass of water on your chest and you don’t want to spill it, head driven back into the bar! Post a vid of your squat I’ll try to help, it’s my best lift, not being cocky but my form was spot on, also your groin strain could be from flexibilty, gotta work hard on flexibility bro to squat wide!! Hope this helps some, let me know if you need anything else! Thanks!

Looks like powerliftin’ has been good to you. You’ve got a nice, solid foundation. Keep up the good work!
