o noes
It’s not “funny”, because these things always speak volumes about the bitter jealousy “powerlifters” must feel about bodybuilding.
At the semi-professional level, I think straight powerlifters have it a bit better off compared to straight Bbers. Powerlifters seem to appeal to fat chicks, since 90% of the female audience seems to be composed of obese girls, who themselves squat in gear. Bodybuilders seem to appeal to gay dudes since thats about 60% of the whole fucking audience.

Well everyone’s definition of “better off” would be different in that case, I guess you would rather bang fat cows instead of delicious men.
It was a bit of a joke, but I compared straight wannabe-pro bodybuilders to straight powerlifters. I’m sure gay bers have it way better off compared to gay powerlifters.
Again this is the wannabe-pro level, we’re talking about the ones who’re waiting for a handout, do anything for a contract, barely hanging on by a thread and just about making ends meet type. This is the “limbo zone”, and
There’s PLENTY of pros, I’d say the bulk of straight successful pros both past and present, married to/dating seriously stunning women, and a visit to the Arnold will confirm that the garden-variety serioius lifters (Bbers, Plers, what have you) who also have successful careers on the side - are usually accompanied by beautiful women.
Finally, a lot of the semi-professional Bbing hopefuls eventually end up as fitness models and rake in the BEST poon out there. Just look at John Roman from this site for example.
If you’re a straight dude into BBing, stay a garden-variety serious liter or become a SUCCESSFUL pro. Else, get into the fitness modeling/muscle modeling business instead. Don’t hang out in the wannabe-pro zone.
I dunno what happens to the pro-powerlifters, I suppose they just get diabetes and fade into further obscurity OR diet down, get ripped and get famous for a while ORRR write a training manual that promises nothing, does nothing and talk down to while mooching lunch-money off skinny newbies by being “hardcore” 24/7.
