Since she has qualities we associate with masculinity, does being turned on by such an image indicate latent homosexual tendencies?
I mean, kissing her ripped pecs and running your hands over her beefy shoulders…uh…gay?

Bullshit. The women on T-Nation are hardly delicate flowers and we don’t scare easy. So there!

Absolutely. I can’t see how anyone in their right mine would want to get within 10 feet of that thing. Looks like some B movie monster.
More Annette Milbers, less roid popping male resembling freaks, please.[/quote]
Annette Milbers is indeed incredible.
But let’s consider the name of Powerful Images… and tell me this doesn’t qualify! I like images like this. I would never, ever aspire to be like her, but it sure does open your eyes to where some people go. Not every Powerful Image has be something we aspire to - some (like this, for me) are powerful because they really define what you DON’T aspire to.
And the women on this site, imo, are aware that such an image doesn’t necessarily represent them or their goals. And the men can use an eyeful of ladies like this too - whether it’s ‘your thing’ isn’t necessarily the point. There’s nothing wrong with not liking this image (and saying so), but it makes you think, and it generates discussion.
Last night I had this weird dream where my upper body was even more muscular and ripped than this womans - almost like the body on the main page of the site. I was looking in the mirror and thinking “Gee, maybe this is a little too much…” LOL!!!
I always find it interesting when a few guys post on these threads SO vehemently and often multiple times. We heard your opinion the first time, no need to rant and rave.
It’s also interesting to note that these types of PI’s often generate the most discussion, so I assume they are serving their purpose. “Powerful” does not necessarily = “Beautiful”. And of course beauty is in the eye of the beholder anyway…
Amen, Jilly and Jinx. This image is powerful if for no other reason than it precipitated so much visceral opinion. Which, I might add, puts it right in line with the blurb at the start of the Atomic Dog columns:
If it makes you think or laugh (or gag, or throb, or…[sdsr]) ? or even get angry ? it’s served its purpose.
Disgusting.
Where’s Ms. Eaton

exactly - which is why I decided to lighten up about the Friday fluff. Not my thing (well I like some of them) but those images are powerful for most T-Nation readers I guess.

Funny thing was, to a man, all the guys who made the movies and bought them shared one common experience.
While chidren, they had wrestled either a baby sitter or a friend of a sister. Somehow, that experience made a strong psychological impression that stayed with them all their lives.

I will never wrestle with my son again …
I think some clorox brand mouth wash and a smidge of duracell eye drops should properly cure me of the residual effects from looking upon this PI.
Meh.

She definitely looks better and a bit more feminine in this pic compare to the PI.

Right on! That’s about the most disgusting pic I’ve ever seen!
I can’t come back until I know for sure she is gone. It’s a very disturbing picture.
You know what’s scarier than the powerful image? All the ‘oh my god…you latent homosexual you…’
Insecure much?
“…ohhhh don’t go near the muscular woman…boys…you might be gay”
blink
I’m sure some of the women on here would be highly impressed if one of you said: “Ever since you developed a bicep, babe, I’ve been questioning my sexuality…”
What I find even more amusing is that many of the same people you see on this, and other, forums doing the whole homophobia thing never seem to have any problem making with the aesthetic comments regarding male BB-ers etc…
Now that makes me wonder…

My wife is no delicate flower either, she lifts heavy iron because she knows this will keep her slim. But when she saw the image her reaction was negative.
I’m not knocking women who look like this, god knows she still is more attractive to me than the loads of obese girls I have to see every day.
