I’ve been scouring the internet and I cannot seem to find the best place to buy a ‘powerblock pro’ dumbbell set except at place in lower manhattan that is selling them for 550 a pair. Since I seem to be coming up short here on finding better deals, I’m wondering if there’s some extremely knowledgeable chap who can help point me in the right direction. And of course I’m wondering the same thing about knowledgeable ladies=)

I bought power block pro rexan 5-85 off ebay for about $ 200.00 less than retail. So the deals are out there you just have to find them.
I sell powerblocks in my store. Their pricing is fixed by the manufacturer. You may be able to find a dealer to waver a couple of bucks, but they are basically price fixed. Ebay is your best bet for a deal, you can’t bust the things. IMO, used are just as good as new.
I am assuming that powerblocks are are those quickchange adjustable dumbells. If you dont have your heart set on that brand i got some quick change dumbells through ironmaster.com they sell them from2-50 lbs. in 2and 1/2 lb increments or 10-120 lbs in 5 lbs increments and i believe they have some other options. I have used the 5-50’s to train in home clients for a year now and they work great.
