Power Drive & Strength Cycle

I’m gonna start a 12 week strength cycle soon here. I plan on using Spike pre workout, and then Power Drive post workout to facilitate CNS recovery.

Should I use one or two servings of Power Drive for this purpose. Also, if I use two servings should I split them into two separate doses (times), or all at once?

Thanks.

I was curious of the same thing. Has anyone ever tried or has success with double dosing PD? For example pre-workout to prep the CNS then post or later on in the day to facilitate recovery?

To the OP, I remember Barr responding in a forum when i was trying to look this up. He liked keeping the dose pre-workout instead of a dose post because he believed that he didn’t want to further stimulate the CNS and thinks it’s good to relax/rest after a workout or something to that effect.

Interesting point of view. Thanks.

One has always worked well for me.

Try a single serving for a week or two, and if for some reason it doesn’t work like you want it to, try two.

As far as whether to take two servings at once or split them up, it shouldn’t matter (unless taking two makes you feel a little too “up”).

Thanks T, will do.

What do you think about using PD post/wo to facilitate CNS recovery? Do you feel that this will help, or be detrimental as stated above.

Thanks!

CT actually wrote an article on recovery methods and among them is slurping Power Drive post workout.

Awsome, thanks!

I use Power Drive quite often and I am SURE to have it the days following my ME day. I am currently doing a LONG full body ME day that leaves me fried and find using Power Drive at least the first few days following really helps make me recovery from that just totally wasted mentally feeling.

I just take one serving in the morning right when I get up. Never really thought about 2 give it a whirl I suppose

You have a different approach as well Phill; not immediately post/wo, but a day or so later.

Power Drive is one of the supps that I haven’t really tried very much so I’m a newbie at it. I’ve only used it sparingly before big tests in school.

I’ll experiment a bit and have some fun with it.

BTW, after reading the article linked above I went ahead and picked up some Epsom salt as well. My girlfriend was laughing because I’m finally gonna take a “bath”!

I take contrast showers and epsom salt baths and they both definately help out. One of these days I will get around to giving Power Drive a try, maybe next month when I order another batch up supplements.

I agree on the contrast showers as well and the salt baths good stuff
