I have no baldness in my family. I am 40 and up to this point I have shown no signs of thinng.
I usually do a cycle in th spring to pump up for summer and last years cycle may have caught up with me. For the first time ever it looks like I’m thinning on top! I’m freaking!
I’ve been using this Nioxin shampoo, conditioner and spary and syrum for about 3 months and it seems like it’s still getting thinner!
I need help!
Pills, snake oils, lasers anything!
If you don’t plan on spending alot of money for mediocre results, then just learn to accept it. Buy a nice hat!
dude, your 40. Thinning hair is normal at that age. My hair started thinning when I was 28. Life sucks. so I wear a hat.
I started to loose hair already in my early 20s. There’s nothing you can do to prevent nature, accept it. Just keep youe hair short and it wont be as noticeable. Or shave!!
I’m 25 and I started going bald when I was 19, and I’ve been shaving my head with a razor since I was 20… just shave it… nothing looks worse than a guy trying to make it look like he’s not going bald… if you’re not into shaving it, then keep it short… plus a bald head looks cool if you’re jacked…
I think guys with shaved heads are sexy as hell. You never see them worrying about their hair thinning either…

Absolutely not true. 15 years ago I was beginning to thin (important point!!) and was told about Propecia. I have been using it since and have a full head of hair to show for it.
It is expensive and once you start you must continue. But it really works.
You might want to look into Follinex…

I tried a few “things” but it wasn’t that effective on me. Maybe it also depends on genetics? Most males on my fathers side are bald.

Did you start propecia when you first noticed the thinning? If you have a bald top and then start i believe nothing would grow that much back. But i started when I began to thin a little at the front and now at 50 i have a full head of hair - really as much - or close to it as I did at 20.

Don’t remember what I used, it’s over 20 years ago. No, I didn’t get a bald spot, in my case my forehead started to grow ![]()
Who cares, I keep my hair short.

You know, that product would maybe look a bit more believeable if the doctor who created it (pic on the left of that page) had a full head of hair.

That’s why I was asking. I just can’t fathom someone on here using this…just looks like snakeoil…especially with the inventors hair “line”.
My hair started falling out when I was 18 and continued for a few years. I dont think or at least I haven’t noticed much of a change in the past 5 yrs or so…
I keep my hair pretty damn short though, no guard on the clippers short! I haven’t bic’d it only cause the wife doesn’t want me to.
I’m a rogaine user for about three years now! I’m 26. I’m still have a bit of a receading hairline, but not all that bad. The crown of my head is full of hair though. I had some serious itching in the past, but finally found a shampoo to control it. Overall, rogaine seems to be working for me. I have a buddy on Propecia. Worked for him pretty well. Then he stopped…his hair fell out!
Sorry, I haven’t tried follinex ![]()
If you guys shave your head, check this out. I’ve been using one for a while now and it is quick and easy.
