Super good boy. 
SUCH a good boy! I mean, he’s eaten the couch and ruined two of the couch pillows and torn some of the couch blankies, and also bit the husband badly enough to warrant an ER visit, but other than that, he’s been perfect.
More seriously, though, he’s becoming slowly civilized and trustworthy, and is just a goofy love tank.

Fished Canyon Lake this morning ( the Texas Canyon Lake).
Caught three large mouth, seven or eight stripers and probably 40 white bass. Was able to keep 21 of them.

I’ve caught them in the youghiogheny but not like that. Good catch!

Spoons for white and stripe, a few lures for large mouth.
Canyon is always a good fishing lake but this region of Texas is in an extended, 7 year drought at the moment. The lake is man made, dammed on the Guadalupe River, which is spring fed. The aquifer is so low not much is flowing and lake levels are something like 45% capacity right now.
All public boat ramps are closed, Army Corp of Engineers won’t allow personal docks so unless you have a Marina slip you can’t access.
Anyways, fish are concentrated given half full status and the lake is virtually empty so zero fishing pressure. We saw three other boats in five hours and they were all water skiing/tubing.
Phenomenal scenario. And if you count the fish we poorly hooked/lost at the boat it would be 10-15 more.
That sounds East Coast?
The best walleye fishing I’ve experienced was on Lake Erie. Two-man limit in 90 minutes, three fish on at a time, walleye up to 8lbs.
Yeah, south west PA. Sometimes I type like everybody else knows where everything I’m thinking is.
I’ve heard very good things about lake Erie walleye fishing too.
