šŸ”„ Post Your Hot Takes... Even the Oddly Specific Ones

Can we just remove warning labels and ultra processed food? - could actually save us…

If it wasn’t for my kids I would be ready for the asteroid or Yellowstone erupting.

Nah people have an uncanny way of still finding a way to be really dumb and survive regardless of what you remove.

Why even post an opinion in the first place?

You could stop doing it.

That’s your opinion.

It is. And I feel comfortable with having opinions.

Hot take: ā€œFree spiritedā€ in basic bitchez dialect translates to ā€œbang who ever I feel likeā€ in normal people language.

As a free spirit, this isn’t a hot take but science.

Dammit. I fell into my own trap.

What does this even mean? Sorry for being old.

It’s not because you’re old; it’s because you aren’t gay.

Incel is someone who claims that they are ā€œinvoluntary celibate,ā€ since they don’t know how to relate to women, but choose to blame the women instead of actually looking at themselves with a critical eye and improving. Usually they just post on reddit and commit mass shootings.

Trad (traditional) wives are some 1950’s fantasy about what a woman should be. Meek and submissive with no pushback. So of course it’s the Incel’s fantasy.

So how do you know that?

Ah. So nerds and Japanese women.

Damn I must be an incel.

My wife is submissive. I would not say meek, but no kingdom can exist with 2 kings.

People often equate submissive with weak.
I would argue it takes more strength to put the trust in someone else.

People also think that having a ā€œsubmissiveā€ partner means the more dominant partner does not value their opinion/ideas. This couldn’t be further from the truth.

100%.

Being a leader is not being a dick that never listens and rules with an iron fist.

Being a good leader is being a servant and putting those that are trusting you to lead first.

But any woman with that ā€œboss bitchā€ energy or any of that garbage can get to stepping away from me with a quickness.

The people that spend the most time trying to get the closest parking place are the ones that need the most exercise.

This drives me nuts. By the time you’ve circled a parking lot multiple times looking for the closest one, you could have parked in a far one and already been inside the location.

Plus the free NEPA.

I’ll make an exception for Florida where I’ll prioritize a shaded spot over anything so I don’t brand myself putting on a seatbelt.
