Post cycle workout protocol

Hmmm, I do like pie…
Seriously though, I don’t compete in bodybuilding nor powerlifting and probably won’t ever. I am happy with my strength and physique and was specifically asking advice on a post cycle workout protocol. This has nothing to do with you thinking I need to lose 50#'s (which I believe you are sadly mistaken). Maybe if I was modeling and needed a 32" waist that would be the case but since I don’t and want to keep as much hard earned muscle as possible it’s not.
I have always lifted heavy whether on or off gear, so that is really a moot point.
I do appreciate everyone else’s feedback and will most likely take a week or so off but hit the cardio 4-5x week then go back to heavy training.
Now I believe you have a photo shoot to attend and I am running late for the county pie eating contest…

Archaic I believe in doing this post cycle: walk in the gym do a warmup of each exercise for the day and one heavy set don’t go to failure though just lift to one rep before failure - then move on to the next exercise. This way you are still geting the nervous stimulation you need yet not over taxing or causing too much damage to the muscle. You should be done the workout in 30 minutes and out of there. So I say the key is keep the intensity the same - don’t try and increase it, and lower the volume

Now I’ll approach this from the position of a health care proffessional. You say you don’t need to lose 50 lbs but from what I see of your photos you are clearly obese. On top of this you are not interested in competetive bodybuilding or powerlifting, or even looking good for the beach for that matter, so my question is why do you even bother to use steroids. You already have one major risk factor for Coronary artery disease which by the way 0besity is the number one cause of this and is the biggest problems facing the health care system in North America. So you have weight issues and you use steroids, not a good combination! Steroids has already contributed to your joint health problems, maybe you should consider getting out of the game permamently before you wake up one night with burning pains in your chest!

P-22,
I will take heed to your advice from the second to the last post. Looks like that may be the right direction to go. As far as “looking good” I don’t seem to have a problem with that relating to the opposite sex. Now you might not like my physique but if I do and other “hot” women do I guess that is all that really matters. My performance is always up to speed too. My resting heart rate is in the lower to mid 60’s which I myself don’t think is too bad either.

Lol! I would like to see what your definition of a “hot girl” is! More than likely the girls that you get aren’t even on my scale of 1-10!

P-22,
Don’t really understand why you hate on me so much, but it’s all good. Seems like you are the only one that thinks I need to lose 50 lbs and stop training heavy altogether. Now, if anyone else here supports this theory I don’t have a problem with that. Funny also how you brag on yourself so much that you trick yourself into thinking your advice is the best on the board and I quote “By the time you loose the weight you need to loose, your joint should be healing up, and maybe then you’ll learn your lesson and over-do it again! You may not like this advise but its the best you’ll get.”
I beg to differ as there are other board members out there with a lot more experience and insightful advice other than yourself.
I will give you this. You have a great looking physique and have done well with your training regimen. Best of luck to you at your show. I’m sure you will do very well.
Btw, the pic attached is one of my recent “dates” whom I’m sure wouldn’t rate on your scale of 1-10. Hahaha!

Ten in my book if you dye her hair brown bro, sorry. Never had a thing for the redheads. This thread just needs to go away. Seems like everybody is pissed off with no place to go.

A lot more experience? O.K people let me show some picks of me before I fucked my elbow, then after the surgery, -how small I got because of being unable to train - simply because like you I could stop training hard when I should have…

Me - january 2003 - before I got the surgery…

Me after surgery…

Me after I got the cast off… May 2003 weighing in at about a fat 190lbs and miserable (not able to train)

Me about a month later after lots of cardio and gentle training + diet (june 2003) weighing around 185lbs here and leaner

Me now March 2004 a little less than 11 months after the surgery - You see I lost 6 months of training time because I was stupid and didn’t give my elbow a rest when it began to hurt. And if I came across to you strongly musclehead, its because I really and truly don’t want this to happen to you. Just look at my face in the after surgery photo and see how miserable I am!

So musclehead I apologize if I offended you bro MassN was right - I was a little cranky d/t the diet when I wrote that initial post - and one thing leads to another and shit escalates. Btw sorry man you do have a very nice looking g/f… Here’s a pic of me and my fiance at Christmas time:

and I can’t resist posting this one - this is her before going out on newyears eve…

Did you forget about your face P-22? That is awesome progress for one year - drugs or not.

Glad we can all be friends here, and your gf is indeed well-endowed.

Wow. After seeing that “New Year’s” pic, I’m ready for my workout. My hormone levels just had a sudden “spike” LOL.

You both have VERY beautiful women in your lives. We all have different preferences and opinions on how we like our women, and also our physiques. Musclehead may like his physique just the way it is, and P-22 may like his just the way it is, too. We all have different goals, and some people here can relate to one another. Others, no.

How we get to the point of offending one another gets WAY out of hand. I have always respected P-22’s advice and personal comments since the day I met him. You’re a stand-up guy, my friend.

We all come here for advice, and knowledge, no matter how much we might THINK we know. We are all also bound to everyone’s opinions and suggestions. Whether we take the advice, suggestions, and opinions is up to US. Either we listen, or we don’t. Plain and simple. No need to let the testosterone fly…

…Oh, and BTW… my girl is hotter than the both of yours put together ROFL. J/K

yah I did forget to black the face but what the hell - cats out of the bag now - and anyone who lives in winnipeg would know who I am anyway- but this is an American board so I can take some comfort in that at least!

These are the stats - was 215 in the first pic, after surgery a fat 190, then 185 and lean and from that point I built up to about 200lbs natural and then began cycling again in mid July - a lot of my progress of course was due to muscle memory. But you can all understand how shitty I must have felt after surgery - watching my arm shrink from at that time 17 1/4 inches to a punny 15 1/2 inches! Its just so depressing! That is why My post to musclehead was a little tempered - because I have been down the road he is traversing before and the destination sucks! so stop the car, turn around and head the other way!
