Post Contest Leaner Me...

These critics are tough, a 6.8 avg? I gave you an 8 off season, you are a 10 when competing.

decent.

Thank you; I’m glad someone else believes I deserve a higher rating =0) But, this forum is just an assessment of what others think and I don’t let it phase me b/c I am confident and will keep improving.

I heard from the same idiot that called me grandpa, that your legs are overdeveloped. Is he kidding? That is what sets your body off, it lets me know how hard you worked, and they look great.

I competed in 10 shows, never placing lower than 3rd, and won 2. So, I am giving you a honest opinion about your physique. Don’t worry about your rating, there is a few on this site, that don’t know one thing about being competive.

And the idiot is back (thats me, not you).
Thank you for your contributions to this “worship thread” that has been so productive thus far.
I stand by my statements, and you can show what I posted to any NPC judge (3 of them post on this site from time to time) and they will agree with my assessment.

Go on to professional muscle and talk to the judges who post there. Go on, try it.

There have been seevral women with short legs, tendency to overdeveloped thighs, medium waist and narrow shoulders who have won this thing in the past, but it has always been with tweaks to their training.

I already told her she looked beyond great for a woman, but I also added info on what the judges are looking for in this thing. She needs a proper coach or needs to try the contests in south america instead (for her body type). I am not trying to be rude, just being real.

Thanks again; I know not not to take the ratings on this site seriously. And to think my rating went down to a 6.7 so according to some of the people here, my physique isn’t good enough and I don’t care about the opinions here. At first I was just curious and thought a decent physique like mine would be appreciated. Then I realized that wasn’t so much the case so I haven’t even frequented this forum as much as I used to.

Thanks again for your support.

I haven’t checked in for several months and so glad I rediscovered your thread! You look absolutely fantastic in your competition photos! I swear you have the total package - beautiful muscles and curves in all the right places. The look I want!

You may have already answered this so forgive me if you have - did you use a training and diet coach to prepare for your show or did you do this on your own?

Also, what does your training and diet look like now?

Thanks in advance,

Alexandra

Nice work, OP. I can tell you’ve been working hard. Just don’t grow bigass lats. It is immensely unattractive for a woman (in my opinion anyway).

bump

venus my dear where are you? theres an ass contest going on in another thread and i think you need to go claim your title. btw my proposal is still out there sweetheart.

Nice work at the show and congrats!! Fifth place is awesome for your first show, and I like your mentality that you deserved better than fifth, which you did. You looked better than a couple of those girls. But don’t worry, you’ll get first place soon enough, hopefully at your show in November.

Congrats again and keep it up!
I know i haven’t been on for a while, but I decided to look at my old thread today. By the way, I did not place 1st at my show last November, I only placed 4th. Who knows, if and when I do another show, I’ll probably get 3rd…

Wow !! I just joined today and this was the first post I seen. I am here to stay. You look great. Beautiful !!

Thanks…lol. I come and go. I plan on posting new pics this month just for feedback. I’m not sure if I should compete anymore, but feedback would be cool. I’m always told my legs are too big, but then again…I could just compete to compete for fun. A part of me enjoys the challenge of getting in contest shape and displaying my hard work.

good work venus… you must compete…

Ok… Am I the ONLY one that’s gonna say it? Why cut of the BUTT shot? Didn’t you get on stage in that outfit? (the pink one)… lol

year ur lateral delts are fine… better than fine in fact… i think lat width is where u need work personally… but its sometimes hard for me to say with girls

austin bicep… hammies? really… i think her hammies look pretty stout… maybe not in this pic… but if ur creepy like me and look at her profile pics
No, I appreciate your comment on the width of my lats. I have been working on it so I hope it does get wider. I may look girly, but when I train I’m a totally different person (picture me actually grunting when I get really into lifting…LOL…the grunts come naturally…LOL!) And, as an amateur, I am flattered to be compared to Pro Figure contestants so again I am, thus far, content with my rating.

Oh and thanks for setting AustinBicep straight on my hammies!

AustinBicep: Glad you took notice and made a correction…here’s another image where you can really see my hammies (excuse my dress though it’s not gym/figure attire)

Stu: Glad you like the pink outfit…;-)
god bless, mm mmm

7 is not a bad rating at all. Very nice physique, OP. In my mind, a 9 would and should be reserved for the top figure girls. Few of them would even get a 10 from me. That’s for the most amazing, drop-dead bodies imaginable. Gina Allioti and Jelena maybe. Perfect combination of muscles and curves. And amazing lines. But you are looking VERY good, Venus. What are your current goals?
My current goals are to build my upper body a bit more and I want to compete in my 2nd amateur natural figure competition with the INBF. They also have a Ms. Fit Body competition that I want to do as a crossover. But, I don’t think a rating of 7 is bad at all when I know I have to make improvements.

Here’s me doing a T-pose…

Thanks again!
