Post Contest Leaner Me...

You are in very good shape.
As you already know you have to work on thickening back and arms (triceps).
I also think you have to do a bit of finetuning in the delts. But you have done a great job. I’m sure you can do great progress so far.
Drying will give you a better (a lot better) look and also the cosmetic tan will give you a big hand. You are very very good! 10+
Thank you for your compliment and critique. It’s so weird, I’ve always worked on my tri’s and they just don’t get thicker. But I think I figured out why, I hardly ever did dips on the bar or just on a bench. I always used to do just pulldowns, overhead extensions with cables and d/b as well as skullcrushers. About 3 weeks ago I began incorporating more body weight exercises into my routine for my triceps and chest. I am also still working on thickening my back (it won’t happen before June)and it’ll take time, but I’m loving the workouts. As for my delts, that’s also a work in progress, but I do think they have improved since I began working on them more in February.

Yes, I am so looking forward to how my body will look when I dry out and am all glossy with a deep tan so all my definition will show. I’ll even post pics for all of you…lol!

Thanks for the 10+, though I know I have to fine tune certain areas.

from a competition standpoint id say your fuckin killin it…thats a good thing.

from aesthetics, i like you more a little less lean.

Well, thanks. I like my body leaner like now, but I just don’t like my face looking too thin. I’m gonna get even leaner soon, but this is only for competition, I can’t stay on just greens and a lean protein diet forever. I always eat clean and very healthy anyway, but I can’t just eat greens always. I miss my grapes! I miss my fruit in general and my other colorful fruits and veggies. LOL! I really do!

I’m happy to be helpfull and I think you “have the guts” to get great results

I think the same. I get the same problem with my triceps.
The solutions? swicthing to higher reps, working over muscle failure, and adding monolateral pulldown at the end.
My workout is:
PushDown (V handle)
SkullCrasher
MonoLateral Pulldown

My previous one was based on dips and close grip bench press.
My triceps dont grow cause lacking of variety

The “must” is add variety.

Sure you improve since Feb.
BTW which is your delt routine?

I’ll wait to see that pic

Yes you have to fine tune. But you have the mind and soul to achieve your goal

You look fantastic…a great combination of muscularity and femininity. Keep up the great work.

Yes, adding variety is important and I should have done it by now w/ my tri’s. And, even though it is still a bit difficult breezing through 10 bodyweight dips on a bar, I am loving it. I’m sure I’ll see a slight improvement by June in my tri’s and back being that I DO have the mind and sould to do it.

My delt routine includes 3 exercises each for side, front, and rear delts and I do presses on a seperate day. Some exercise I began doing 3 weeks ago and have seen great impovements with are:

?1/4 Laterals
?Full range lateral raise
?Candlestick front raises
?Pronated front raises
?Rear dealt pulses
?Rear delt rope pulls

etc…

“poco ma sicuro”
it means. SURE!

I like to separate lateral from rear deltoid.
My shoulder routines look like:
Shoulder press or Military press
Seated Lareral raise
Cable monolateral lateral raise
then when i train back
cable rear delt raise
rear delt row ( http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/DeltoidPosterior/BBRearDeltRow.html )

My workout “method” follows Yates dictat

I use the same training system for my “top” female trainee

I don’t do a lot of front delt movement cause with chest pressing the delt’s anterior head works enough (IMHO)

Do you have any before pics? I’m curious how big your legs used to be

Actually I don’t think the size of my legs reduced much(my butt did go down a bit…lol!), but the pics in my profile are all “before” pics from December 2007 and February 2008. I haven’t posted any of the pics I just took on there yet.

Here’s a pic from Dec 2007 and you can look at the comparison pic posted on the previous page to see how I looked in February.

Sounds good, I’ll have to try it when I change my routine by next week…thanks again!

Oh, I meant “big” in the sense of being muscular, not fat! I was wondering what your starting point was. (I think the legs do look slightly thicker and stronger in the more recent pic, although they look AMAZING in both pics!)

I’m sure you’ve posted this somewhere in the 11 pages already but what are your squat and deadlift #s?

Is it ok with you if I begin stalking you, LOL. But seriously great work. Keep us all updated on your comp. Love the black dress, ya big tease
Bonn1997 wrote:

Well, that depends on my stance. I used to go only parallel to the floor, but in the past 2 mos I’ve been squatting lower hams to calves also. So, lets see on my own without a spot w/ a wide stance on a squat rack, I can only safely squat about from 140-150 lbs. However, when I use a narrower or neutral stance, I can only safely squat from about 100-110lbs.

And, I didn’t think you were referring to my legs as fat…lol! I always had big muscular legs even when I had more bodyfat; they just weren’t as solid obviously.

Ok, I will and I’m glad you liked the black dress ;)lol!

Happy to be helpfull

You changed your avatar! That’s OK, that pic looks great, too.
