Hey all,
I’m in Portland for a few days hanging with Nate Green and a few people.
I’d love any recommendations for places to go or things to do. (Note: Already hit VOODOO donut…unreal).
Anyway, more to the point, we’re doing a little meet-up tonight at the Pink Rose on NW 13th and Lovejoy. If you are in the area and can make it out, I’d love to meet some T-peeps. 9:30ish.
Either way, recommendations for other stuff would be great. Lemme know
I don’t know how long you are going to be in PDX for, but my favorite restaurant is Veritable Quandary (http://www.veritablequandary.com).
The seafood stew is excellent and they have a great wine list (Patricia Green is always good).
Adina is also good. (http://www.andinarestaurant.com)
I think you need to make reservations for both of the above.
Rock Bottom (http://www.rockbottom.com) is pretty good for casual dining. Good food and beer.
If you like chocolate, you have to make it to Moonstruck (http://www.moonstruckchocolate.com.)
Voodoo Donuts are evil.

I’ve worked a block away from Veritable Quandary for 5 years and still have not ate there.

Yeah…but did you go there with a really purty girl like I did? Who wore a short dress with no panties? Huh? Didja?[/quote]
No…I went with Nate. He wore shorts. No panties, though.

Blasphemy! If I was that close I would be there at least once a week for the seafood stew.
