Porn Addiction

Or your sexual partners are useless? lol
Not to say it couldn’t be true, but that response is probably exactly what the poster before had in mind when he mentioned ‘effects of too much porn on women’ as an additional topic in this thread. If a woman can’t get off, it’s the man’s fault. If a man can’t get off, his porn addiction is apparently at fault. In fact, his inability to get her off is also apparently because of his porn addiction.

This is completely unscientific, but I’d wager that women who literally LIVE with their vibrator for years at a time, probably do have a much much harder time getting off on actual sex regardless of the partners ability for exactly the same reason a guy has trouble getting off(or even staying hard) to stimulation that isn’t his hand after periods of very frequent masturbation.

Anyway, I would rather watch girl on girl porn than two guys doing it bleh.
You just became 1000x more awesome than anybody previously thought.

That is an incontrovertible fact.

Do you mean by fucking or with a man in any way?

Oh, now i remember, you masturbated yourself with a guys hand before. Is that the only orgasm you’ve had with a guy?

I completely stopped watching porn and masturbation more than 1 year ago. It is the best thing I have ever done. Porn and masturbation is for chumps.

I tried this but just end up making a mess while I sleep if my girlfriend doesn’t keep up with her duties.

I watch porn, and masturbate to it a few times a week, I have sex with my wife often, I masturbate to my wife often, I masturbate w/o porn often. I watch porn with my wife once in a while, we have a healthy sex life. Porn has been part of my normal behavior since I was 13. I understand what is fantasy and what should be left as so, I understand that porn isn’t reality and treat it as so.

I understand that too much of anything may lead to adverse reactions. Including having no sexual outlet at all, before marriage I have had some sexual dry spells, and I thank god I was able to masturbate to porn and to my imagination because without it I was an asshole.

Why does everything have to be so cut and dry, not much in life is.
I might as well put my name in that hat then cause i agree with pretty much everything you said.

If you can lead a normal/healthy sex life, regardless of jerkin it to porn a few times a week, then have at it.

That’s exactly the point. If you can look at porn and lead a normal sex life, you don’t have a problem.

But when you can function normally to porn and have trouble leading a normal sex life (ED, PE, etc.), it means that you have caused changes to your brain’s circuitry, and that you have a porno addiction.

It’s worth noting that guys who got their start on porn before the rise of the internet are far less susceptible to porn addiction, as are guys who had sexual experience before starting heavy porn use. This is because their brains are “wired” to real women, and less dopamine intense forms of porn.

But there are people basically saying ANY porn watching is bad, that there are only negative effects to come from watching porn. I dont see it that way. In fact if it werent for porn, my sex life would probably be nowhere near as good as it is.

how did you get over the drive initially?
on edge wrote:

It absolutely can. I’ve been with my wife for 20 years and our sex life is probably the best its ever been. We made love for the 15th day in a row this morning (I just checked my calendar) and I’ll be very disappointed if it doesn’t happen tomorrow morning as well.
so do you attribute this to the termination of porn?

I haven’t read every page of the thread, but from what I’ve seen it’s the guys who’ve been porn addicts who are the most against it… this is probably just a characteristic of recovered addicts (ex-smokers are often the most vehement anti-somokers).

I’d say that ANY porn is bad for guys who have at any time had a porn problem.

The danger is that (internet) porn is such a slippery slope, and such an easy hit to administer, that it can escalate without you noticing.

Oh ya! That was awesome, but I never got an orgasm from that :S.

OMGOMGOMG I AM BROKEN!!

Maybe it’s not a vibrator thing, maybe it’s an ANthony Kiedis thing or something.

Ilovehimsomuch.

Interesting no?

What would you say to some of these ultra obese people who have a food addiction?

They literally have to indulge in their addiction a little bit everyday just to stay alive.

Thats an interesting argument. it wouldnt really hold true for something like heroin because under no circumstances does anyone EVER condone something like that, but porn is something that many many people think is perfectly OK.
