Pop Quiz!

What in your opinion gives better arm size when doing barbell curls, do them strict with no cheating or momentum, or use body english and cheat to use heavier poundages. I tried both methods and I find that a combination of both works the best to get arm size.

I do strict curls for about 6 weeks until I plateau, then switch to cheat curls to get past my plateau which seems to work.

Well, yeah. You just answered your own question. That’s about right

I used to do them excessively strict and I think my progress suffered as a result because I was using bitch weights.

Now I try and lift fast while keeping my shoulders retracted and trying not to rock but I am less strict now and I find I can work my biceps harder.

When I do alternate DB curls I lean to the side which I am curling, more to get my hip out of the way so I can bring it up in a straighter path.
Cheat in ways that make the TARGET muscle work HARDER, not just so you can use more weight, or cause your tired and want to make the last rep easier lol.

This may have been discussed before. Not too sure.
