Immortal Technique - can be a bit much at times, but there is some underground hip hop for ya
Jedi Mind Tricks - This has Rugged Man spitting some serious flow for the guy above that wanted some tongue twisting.

Some good mentions… Dance With the Devil is definitely a bit overrated, though. Great lyricism and songwriting aside, I’ve heard it way too many times. The Cause of Death is my probably my favorite, but Revolutionary Vol. 2 is amazing on so many levels.
Not that Revolutionary Vol. 1 is bad though, haha.
Ya just wanted to post the 2 biggies.

Aright, Ill admit I was probably wrong then. Maybe their just props. I want to hear some good rap that FLOOOOOOWWWWWWSSSS and rhymes. I want to listen to a song and say “DAMMNNN!! this guy has skills”, not “what the #@$% is this crap?”. I want to listen to a rapper who spits tongue twisters, not repeating the same thing over and over.
Busta Rhymes
Nas
Andre from OutKast[/quote]
Any reason you only listed Three Stacks and neglected to put Big Boi on there?
I just wanted to say…
YAH!
Now someone sign me up to a label!

Because I think Andre can flow better than Big Boi?

If only Andre had decided to keep rapping. All he does is sing now.

I want to know how he can afford all that shit. That car, all the chains and shit. Paid for by record companies?
LOL!!!
They don’t own that shit. They borrow that shit for videos and then give it right back. The ones who can actually afford all of that shit are few and far between…and likely also know as producers.

Phew, I never knew that - was starting to think that the world is seriously out of whack when little punks can afford that making talentless music. That song definitely sucks.
Wait for Livefromblahblah to come defend it and tell us we have no taste.
Anyone else think if they had 3 wishes they’d use one up on a cage fight with soulja boy?
I know I’d sure love to elbow him in the mouth.

LOL!
It’s funny how music and some people’s actions can have that effect, I feel the same way about a few artists.
Soulja Boy is such a lucky bastard… He produced his entire first album himself on fruity loops (probably a pirated version too).
And andre does flow better than big boi. That’s just a fact…

That’s the best you can do?
WEAK.
For the record, that Nas song he compared it to is from the new album just released this month…you know, the 1940’s.

i wasnt saying nas was from the 40s smart guy, i was comparing him to these old people who say "oh this isnt music listen to -insert broadway musical performer- ,now thats music.
times change music evolves. how many of you baby-boomers listening to the Beatles had your parents liking them? like holy shit we get it, most people on this site dont like soulja boy. you really need to make a thread about it every week? yall keep letting this guy get under your skin so bad when all hes doing is making party music. dont be such a grumpy gus.

I’m not a Baby Boomer and I doubt most of the people in this thread are either. Generation Y is described as late 70’s to early 80’s. That is where I fall in if you are interested.
That song sucks. It has shit to do with age unless being under the age of 25 is all it takes to find that bullshit appealing.
If that is the case, I thank GOD I grew up in the 80’s.
That song shows a complete lack of talent. The lyrics suck and the music sounds like it was made on a 1985 Casio keyboard.
NO ONE is going to be playing “She’s got a Donk” 20 years from now unless it is a comedy skit about how much that song sucks.
Here we go again: Prof X the senile old man.
What this fuck is a donk anyway?
As bad as that N.E.R.D song was, this is 1000 times worse.
Changing the subject…that new NAS cd is literally one of the most political and unique albums I’ve heard in a while.
I hate they made him change the name of the album. I see exactly what he was trying to get across.

I can see why they made him change the name of the album though… I think the media would blow it up, especially the “sly fox”
On a slightly different note. Did anybody know that he got nearly 630,000 signatures on his fox news petition? That’s ridiculous.
Did anybody see his interview on colbert?
