Poor Bastard

hello everyone;
since im a college student and i cant afford all the supps i want, i wanted to know if there could be anything that could come close to Surge? dont freak out everyone, i use Grow! even though im poor. I support T-nation and Biotest, but i was just wondering if a mix of creatine, gatorade, and liquid amino acids could come even close? gatorade has a GI of over 70 and salt and potasium, and liquid aminos should be absorbed quickly. since i am using creatine, i figured it could be added in the mix aswell. dont have much science behind it, just kinda speculation. i was planning on using this durring my workout and taking a high GI carb/whey isolate post workout. i am WELL aware that Surge is better, but its several times more expensive. what is everyone’s take on this idea???

Dextrose, maltodextrin, gatorde powder, or a combo of any of the three.

UB07…I’m a poor college student too so I don’t use Surge. What I recently started doing is this:
Whey Protein Isolate and Dextrose.

All in all though you’re not saving a TON compared to Surge.

UB07, don’t forget to mix a good dose of Grow! into that mix. You need protein at that point as well as the carbs, aminos, and creatine.

Listen to the Double Tap with Berardi on the new T-nation radio. He’ll give you some good advice.

You beat me by 20 minutes.

The very poor man’s version of Surge is low fat milk. It may only give half the results but is better than nothing.

Low fat CHOCOLATE milk. The chocolate part is very important because… keeps waiting for Dr Berardi to elaborate umm… well… the chocoliciousiness.
