Slightly off topic, but this goes to show that health and muscle growth are integrally related:
Meat and nuts are rich in zinc, which of course we all know is a testosterone booster (via aromatse inhibition).
“Zinc deficiency could very plausibly be part of what causes the symptoms of autism. Zinc plays an important role in protein synthesis, cell growth and repair, and levels need to be super topped off in pregnant women and infants where all these processes are occurring at a more rapid rate than any other time in one’s life. Also, we know that a “leaky gut” has been associated…”
Try or at least research Zinc L-Carnosine if you have stomach issues.

To really understand his methods, you have to study under him.
A lot of the stuff in his articles are just to build hype bring attention.
So don’t both quoting his articles. And as implied earlier - proof is in the pudding
I get what you’re saying, but I simply can’t understand what is so novel about his methods. And I’m one who believes that you don’t even need novel stuff for results.
anyone who says counting calories is for morons looses all credibility in my book.
Brb every great bodybuilder and bodybuilding coach ever are morons fucking lol

Fairly obvious you heard one line with which you disagreed and tuned out. That’s the other side of the coin known as “confirmation bias.”
More like I tuned into all lines and don’t like the title of the video or general thesis of it.
The title doesn’t fit the video. He should have said that body composition and health are dependent on caloric amount AND food sources, micronutrients, and macronutrients.
Charles Poliquin: "A guy I knew once, who worked for a national ski team, would do 23 single-arm pull-ups off the end of a diving board in an empty swimming pool.
I also knew a bodyguard who could do a controlled, one-arm, one-finger pull-up ? 30 seconds up, 30 seconds down. That guy was, not surprisingly, also a great mountain climber."

He did have some real bullshit sounding stories. I remember him saying a female speed skater’s quads were so big that they made Tom Platz’s look skinny.
Before I started to question his claims I was pretty impressed with him and my training partner was getting tired of me quotting him a lot.
One day I kept a very straight face and told him, according to Charles…odd number reps are they way to go because every even number rep shuts off the body’s response to growth. He actually believed me and then launched into how gullible I was. ha ha

You must have that quote on speed-dial and an alarm set to go off every time someone posts anything about this guy.
Or he could copy and paste it from his first comment.
Or google “ploqiquin outrageous claims” and pick any number or ridiculous claims that guy has posted
I just noticed a comical pattern from reading around the forum, where you post the same thing over and over in reference to one guy who, agree with him or not, happens to be about as successful in the industry as is possible.
Please don’t mistake that for me giving a fuck. I am entertained in a way by your steadfast efforts. Hell, maybe you will put a dent in his business if you are consistent!

What does his success have to do with my fascination and posting his ridiculous comments?

You might not give a f— but you have been passively aggressive with me a few times so far.
What does putting a dent in his business have to do with anything?
Keep making stuff up. I remember some time back you thought I didn’t visit T-mag since the late 90’s or 2000’s because I haven’t been a member since then when in fact I was a member since 2003 with a different name and visited the site in '98 or '99 and read it because one can view articles and the forums without being a member.
Chasing the guy’s name around online and nipping at his heels kinda like an angry dog - pretty similar in my eyes.
And the part about thinking you weren’t around in 2000 or whatever, you’ve definitely got me confused with someone else. I guess, go dig up that post since that’s your thing if you are sure you got the right guy, but you don’t.
For real though, I really don’t care. You come off as having a chip on your shoulder about Poliquin.

I apologize if I have the wrong guy.
I don’t have a chip on my shoulder. I find his outrageous statements fascinating, as do many others. Someone even started a Facebook page one time dedicated to Poliquinisms.
