Poliquin

Does anyone have Poliquin’s book Modern Trends in Strength Training? What are you critiques of this book?

There aren’t many pages, but it’s a pretty good book. It has very good info related to those primarily interested in strength gains, including various set/rep schemes that have worked with his athletes. Whether you want to spend $30 on the book or not depends on how valuable you think it is!

I have it (since I contributed to it). The info is good, but there is very little of it … it’s only like 90-100 pages long with extremely wide margins and a large font. There might actually only be 25-30 pages worth of info (most of which was covered either in “The Poliquin Principles” or in T-mag).

I found it very worthwhile. If you are willing to drop $50 to try a supplement or increase your food intake, why worry about $30 for new knowledge? I recommend the book.

it is good but as everyone said it is very short. poliquin principles is much better and covers a lot more. if your interested i have an extra copy.
