I?m 6"0 150lbs and starting the bulk cycle.
What do you think my current body fat % is?
How do you think I look now?I would say pretty “ugly”, but would love to hear ?ya all opinions.

Thanks!

6’0 and 150 lbs? What can I say? EAT…EAT…EAT!!..nuff said.

Yeah… don’t worry so much about your body fat % just yet. Just focus on packing on ohhh say another 30 lbs =]

In all seriousness, start by looking to gain say 10 lbs and then doing a lil’ toning after that. Repeat a couple more times. You’ll eat right and lift much, and if you do what T-Nation recommends, you should gain poundage but still see the six-pack.

Just work on gaining right now, even if it’s some fat. If you can gain 10 lbs of which 7 lbs are muscles. You can afford to go on a few weeks of toning and shed that 2 lbs of fat and let’s say retain 6 lbs of muscles. That’s still a net gain of 8 lbs of which 75% is muscle which ain’t shabby at all.

Good luck.

You are LEAN LEAN LEAN.

Get your nutrition adequate (meaning appropriate calories, proteins, fats and carbs) for gaining.

You’ve got a very good base, now if I were you, I would focus on gaining lean mass.

However, if you’re trying to minimize bodyfat gains, then take it slow. Basically monitor your progress according to your nutrition, and if you’re not gaining, add in more calories, maybe in the form of post workout carbs.

If you’re putting on too much fat, for your tastes anyways, then cut back a little until you see steady gains in strength and performance.

As you progress remember your calorie needs will too. Just keep tabs on your progress and eat accodingly, but please eat.

Good luck man!

Good grief! You definitly need to bulk, but you already know that. As for bodyfat, you are easily in the ~8 percent range. As John Berardi recommends, bulk until you are more than 12 percent bodyfat. You have quite a ways to go, so feel free to hit the weights hard and increase your calories each week until you are getting enough to put on a few pounds each week while minimizing fat gain.

It will take time, but you can do it. Remember to eat clean, but eat a lot. Six or seven meals a day! Read “Foods that Make you Look good Naked” and JB’s Massive Eating plan for more info.
