That’s what I thought, but wasn’t sure. I’ve seen pictures online of people with ore-order receipts. They paid like $150 bucks. It was for Xbox though.

Amazon doesn’t charge for preorders until it ships. I dont know about gamestop’s online stor but, the B&M stores require a $100 minimum preorder.

As of now all the places I’ve looked are only allowing one pre-order per famaily.

I can’t see you making a ton of money unless PS4’s production is way below demand. All though it well could be.

With this and the Xbox One coming out at the same time I’d imagine next-gen demand should be sated. But I seem to remember there being a shortage every time a new console is released.

Everyone should have seen this coming. I’m just surprised it happened so soon, as they seemed so content to stick to their guns for a while.

Undoubtedly this will help, it still wont outsell PS4 (hell, PS3 outsold 360 and 360 was cheaper and out a year longer) but after i went through 3 xbox 360’s during the current gen and all this bullshit with M$ and Xbox One, i refuse to support microsoft by purchasing one.

I still wouldn’t buy the Xbox. I can see the 2nd update, which will be by the end of this year in all likelyhood, adding these restrictions right back on. I don’t believe Microsoft has just 180’d their stance.

Pre-Ordered the PS4 - Killzone package from Amazon last night, now I just need a time machine! Hopefully I won’t end up like the time child Eric Cartman…

Yeah i’m in the exact same boat as you.

Took the plunge and got a 360 this generation because hey it was “cheaper”, not including the cost of live, a memory card as well as a wireless adapter, and it died only 4 months in.

Not gonna trust them with my purchase again.
