Splenda contains both maltodextrin and sucrolose. I want just plain sucrolose. Where can I get it? I know it must be possible to acquire, since several Biotest products contain sucralose but no maltodextrin.
it mainly contains some maltodextrin because sucralose is roughly 500 times sweeter than regular sugar. So if you were to add a tablespoon you would have to add 1/500th. That’s a little difficult.
You would probably be oversweetening things beyond sweet if you had pure sucralose.
If you look hard enough, there is a body building supplement site that sells pure sucralose, and it ends up being cheaper than buying splenda/generic splenda.
