It is great that your kids train with you. My daughter used to come to the gym and train, but now she has a life. Kinda miss her coming with me. My youngest son - he is 19 – has just started back lifting, not sure he will stick with it.

I am training hard for Worlds – they will be right here in Killeen the first week of October. You guys come check it out if ya can. I lift on the 3rd.

Malinda

Malinda,
Good to hear from you.Good luck training for the worlds.Maybe all of us will drive down to Killeen in october again. The boys were blown away at Masters Nationals. They didn’t know us old timers still could hang!Best of training to you.Jimmy T

It will be a good show. You can go to the IPF site and see the weight classes and which day they are lifting.

Nice to see passing on the training ethic to the youngsters. They are the future of the sport and someday, they will pass on the knowledge and the ethic.

Even though it wasn’t that hard…I’m extremely sore today to the point where I think twice about bending down or over without holding on to something. Taking a dump requires two arms - one on the sink for support, the other on the toilet paper holder for support!!!

Am too sore and have had a 24 hour severe headache so no training today except for a brisk 20 minute walk with the dogs this morning.
