Pics of High/Low Bicep Insertions?

Dickbag and 1morerep have high insertions and impressive peaks on this site, and at the professional level, most bbers with high insertions have always had good peaks, but I have seen many many amateurs with high insertions and NO peak, as well as lifters on this site who DO NO avoid direct arm work. There are low attachments with no peak! Check out “mr shoulders” on this site.
I think Dante Trudell is a good example of someone with a low attachment and NO peak whatsoever, but I could be wrong.

Because of how I have my forearm you cant see the gap but my biceps attaches fairly high with absolutely no peak whatsoever…there is no doubt that my biceps has held me back in arm size as measured by a measuring tape. I just dont have that big extra 1 inch jut when flexed. At my highest bodyweight my arms measured 21 and 5/8 I think (i have a pic somewhere up on Muscular Development) but now they are about 20 and 3/4’s (pictured)…I realy think i would have gotten into the 22’s if I had any gifts at all in the bicep department. Oh well what can you do, I started out lifting with 13 inch arms at 20 years old (yep 13 at 6’1 140 pounds) so I had alot of ground I needed to cover. Would of loved to be like Mattarrazzo and had 17 inch arms at 18 years old. Man look at that awesome peak on my arm! You could put a coffee cup on there it sucks so bad…LOL
Ten years ago I came out of a gym and these 2 little boys said “hey your big…flex!!!” and i rolled up the shirt and hit the proud bicep shot and one of the kids said “Flex!” … I said “I am flexing!!!”…and so is the curse of the guy with no bicep peak…he walks away demoralized so determined to hit a lat spread next time someone yells “Flex!”

You’ve done better than most ever could so don’t feel too bad.

Good work. I don’t have that much of a peak on mine either and they measure about the same.

I was watching Darrem Charles at one of his contests last year and he may have the best peak in bodybuilding right now.

Seriously Dante, that lack of a bicep peak didn’t stop you from getting the kind of wife that you have… So I’m not sure what you’re complaining about
