Exactly. That is why you will never see pics of Ryan or others who choose to use this board as an internet “Bro-science regurgitation playground”.
are you really retarded or do you just keep ignoring things i say to start an arguement. i have said to like 3 times now i will be posting pictures as soon as im done my bulk, for fuck sake.
also me posting bro-science? any examples of this?
regarding the other post, what about those that are big who take advice from those smaller?
lyle mcdonald, alan aragon, ian mccarthy, eric helms all these people are not huge by this sections standards yet know more about muscle building, nutrition and exercise physiology than almost anyone on this site.
knowledge is not determined by your physique if that were true IFBB pros would be the best people to get advice from. yet their not and spread around alot of misinformation. e.g phil heathe saying that protein from real food is superior to a whey protein powder.
if anything you x seem to be the master of bro science. derp muscles built with steroids look different.
Those people are definitely proven, yes, but that’s the thing. They have proven results through various clients to demonstrate their knowledge. This STILL necessitates proof of results.
And additionally, I will say that this is also a counter argument I see a lot from people who are neither big or strong, and it seems to carry the implication that these people have at least successfully coaches various clients, but usually when I press for details, they have neither personally succeeded nor have they produced a client that was successful. On another forum, I had a guy telling me what it takes to deadlift 600lbs. I had deadlifted 600lbs, he had not, but in his opinion it didn’t matter, because he read a lot on the subject. When I asked if he ever coached anyone to a 600lb deadlift, he had not.
Honestly, if Phil Healthe told me protein from real food is superior to whey protein powder, I would start eating more real food. The guy clearly knows how to get big. Is he going to be right 100% of the time? No, but if I did 100% of the things he said to do, I’d still be pretty successful.
thats what i was getting at. alot of them are very knowledgeable but not very big, most people on this website wont take advice from someone who isnt jacked which is stupid.
phil heahte does clearly know how to get big, im not going to bring in the massive amount of drugs he uses into the argument, but does it mean its the best way or that he is most knowledgeable… no it doesn’t. this is the thing you would take phil heathes misinformation because he is big but if someone small were to give you the same advice you would not pay attention which is dumb.
They aren’t just knowledgeable but small though. They have proven their results, which is what I am getting at. Proof is what is valuable here.
And if Phil Heathe told me to take a bunch of drugs to get big, I would follow that advice.

I’m beginning to suspect that the “_96” is meant to signify that you were born in 1996, which would definitely explain a lot.

Gentlemen, please!.. can we resume laughing at the OP here?
I actually went and checked his older posts since joining just a few months back. Amazingly they all asked for help as his training seemed to be way off base and was dieting very incorrectly. There were even several recent pics in them… so how the hell did he think he’d just magically look like he had gained 40 lbs in such a short duration and everyone would buy it? -lol
Still, most definitely not the most ridiculous thing I’ve seen on here ![]()

surely no one is this stupid. so you would follow phil heathes advice blindly about everything training, nutrition and gear with out doing any research at all?
typical idiotic response from frogger as usual. regarding ian mccarthy, his physique is improving. he give out information based on research and science, his physique does not reflect the information he puts out. what is wrong with regurgitated information if its good information.

Ah, to be 18 again. Once I grew up and learned that it’s way better to be wrong so you can learn how to become bigger and stronger versus NEEDING to be “right” even at the cost of making no progress, life got better.
And yes, resume photoshopping gentlemen!

Hey Zraw, remember that time Youngster said lateral raises weren’t good for shoulders and then it turned out he was photoshopping his photos? And even with photoshop his shoulders were lacking?
Good times.
What is the motive behind photoshopping pictures to impress a bunch of people who you don’t know?
