i’ve just thought of a way of progression. now i know deadlifting is the focus of this cycle, and it IS the focus, i don’t exactly just want to be spinning my tires on my other lifts. but i don’t want to just be trying to put up more weight everytime. so i’m going to progress in a different way. i will perform a movement in the easiest way, then make it harder by moving hand or foot placement. for instance.
close grip bench press at a certain weight.
next workout: medium grip with same weight
next workout: wide grip with same weight.
next workout: up the weight.
