Notes:
Tried maxing out on bench today, and failed completely. Was very hungover from post-exam finishing festivities so wasn’t the best recovered. Diet the day before hand consisted of 2 mars bars and cans of cider, so needless to say I didn’t set myself up for success this morning. I know I have 120kgx1 in me for sure, but not with the morning that was in it. I shall be trying again this Sunday and will destroy it. I quite enjoyed doing the speed bench, might throw it in every now and again in the future.

100kg x 5 is strong! Especially after all that stuff.

Thanks, they didn’t feel particularly good. Was fighting for every rep…
You are closer than you think in the bench race, throw in benching twice a week and you should see even quicker gains!

We’ll see next week. I’ll give 112.5kg a go on Tuesday if I feel good.
Benching twice a week would ruin my wannabe bodybuilder bodypart once a week split though so that’s a no go at the moment.

I hear that, finished my final exam/thing at uni ever today so I’m taking today off to celebrate. Got to a live a little sometimes, back in the gym tomorrow though, hungover or otherwise!
