Phatman's Rehab Log

My first wife, who was chasing a chemistry degree aimed at a premed program in college had a saying “Eat when you’re 60, sleep when you die.”

You’re a busy man Colin, full stop.

Stay as healthy as you can.

Plenty of time to rest when I’m dead, lol

Well fella’s we lost our last game and got knocked out of the play offs, season over for us. I think I did what I set out to accomplish 2 years ago.

  1. Earn my way on to the field
  2. Gain the respect of my coaches & teammates by being a football player and not an “Old” guy playing football.
  3. Lasted the season with no surgeries
  4. Play in the same game with my son
  5. Proved to myself that I could still “Play this game”

I think I can put this all away again. You guys have no idea how much you helped me all year long. Your support was tremendous and inspiring! Going to take a week or two to heal up and then there is still this little matter of hitting a 500 bench in compitittion that I havn’t accomplished yet. Time to really test the tricep and see if it will hold up!

Congrats Colin! It has been good following this, even after I got in the game late. Now I’m going to follow the quest for the 500# bench.

Like J said - Congrats Colin on a season well played! And I’m also anticipating watching the journey to a 500# bench.

You earned my respect. Long road, damn well done. Been a pleasure following your season. Look forward to your next quest.
