Phatman's Rehab Log

Brothers!

5 days out from the first game and I am more than a little excited. Randy came home last night and he will get to play next to me in the home opener! How cool is that, both Wilson’s shutting down the interior D-line. I feel pretty good. Ankles are about 80% better and both elbow have some tendinitis but nothing that is going to prevent me from playing.

I posted some pictures in my profile if anyone is interested. We have a new colors this year and I don’t like them. I think the black is better but what are you going to do?

I’ll get back to you with an update after the game!

Hit ‘em hard Bro’!

And I agree the black uniform looks way better.

Loved the black, always worked for the Raiders.
And Randy playing,too. Beyond words.

Sorry, flashback to my football days. Gimma hell, bro!

OMG…goosebumps rising just thinking of playing the opener next to your son!!! It doesn’t get any better than that when you are a Dad!!! AWESOME Colin & Randy!!!

Give 'em hell you wacko. No injury and several kills. How’s your son? The best to ya.

Thanks Men! Randy is doing great, he got in Monday. I need to get him outfitted to play. Running around borrowing pads for him, lol.

That’s cool Colin! I have to agree about the uniforms, best of luck to you and the team. Details after the game please.

So, YOU READY???

I hope it’s all you want it to be my friend. Quote:
Football is an incredible game. Sometimes it’s so incredible, it’s unbelievable.
Tom Landry
Lead, follow, or get the fuck out of the way. Rock on!

Oh yeah, I worked pretty hard to get in shape enough to run with these guys. Tommorow at 4:00 we will find out how I did. Can’t wait to strap it up for a real game!

I wish I could be in my cheerleader suit to cheer you and your son on for the game. Take care and rock some youngster for me.

37 - 2 WIN !

These guys weren’t very good but it was a good showing for the War hawks. I played O-line mostly because of some injuries but i got in on a couple D-line series as well. The really cool part was the last five minutes of the game, playing right guard with Randy playing right tackle. Just a totally awesome feeling to take the field with my son. We even got into a bit of a scrum at the end as they were a bit pissed that we hung an ass whupping on them. I will get to play with him for the next game and then he has to go back to Iraq. Pictures posted on myspace (Colin Wilson (colin434) on Myspace) and a couple in my profile, in case anyone is interested!

That’s awesome Colin! Congrats to you, your son & the team!

Fuckin A, Bro! Too good for words. Good news is Randy’s looking in shape and large(you, too). Bad news is Randy seems to have gotten his looks from you:) Wish he could stay and didn’t have to go back but great you both have these couple of games together. Enjoy the time.

That’s great that you and your son can play football together. Weights and longevity in sports. yeah!

So you two have the same haircut I see: Just on opposite ends of your heads.

HAHA I knew the jokes were gonna fly! It was really amazing to take the field with him. I’m jut lucky to be healthy enough to play. We didn’t get a chance to face off against each other though that might be intresting or embarrassing for me, lol…

Congrats on that too

Seriously, that was a way to go on the game.

Damn you guys did lay an ass whoopin’ on them didn’t you. Your boy is huge, just like his old man. Sux he has to go back to Iraq. Cool pix too Colin, thanks for sharing!

What a storyline!!! This is the kind of stuff that really gets me going…the score didn’t matter…how can one describe the feeling of a proud dad playing ball next to his son??? Our sense of family has changed, for the worse in my opinion, this is the kind of shit THAT brings us back to the way families used to be…sons and dads working along side of each other.

The memories of this game will last forever in time, for both parties, as I’m sure Randy was pretty proud of you as well, hangin’ in there with the young bucks! AWESOME COLIN, you made my day, my week, my month, & probably the year!

You’re looking tooooo fit for me. Randy and I are very proud of you. The very best for you bro.
