3x8: military press 69 kg

I’m thinking I should add a push complex to this day and do a pull complex on another, maybe instead of the unweighted pullups, so at the end I farted around with some press/squat combos trying to figure out something that might work and a reasonable weight to use. But can’t count that as work sets.

2x5: pull complex (power snatch, power clean, bentover row, deadlift) 49 kg

Trying something new. These complexes are pretty exhausting, but they should work well enough if I stack some smaller plates on there instead, so the snatches don’t smack into the ceiling, haha.

Still trying to figure out a push complex I can do. Some combo of squats and overhead pressing is pretty much all I have the equipment to do. Doing these with a pair of DBs seems different enough from using a straight bar in the bigger lifts earlier.

Have never done Tabatas as a finisher before, only as a super-short session on their own, so I used a bit less weight than before, and survived, but it’s certainly not pleasant. But I figure I’ll do Tabatas as a finisher once a week for a few weeks, see how much leaner I can get.
