Persistent Guy's Training Log Continues

1x15: front squat 101 kg
1x20: back squat 101 kg
6x5: military press 73 kg
1x4, 5x3: pullup 22 kg

First time in my life I back squatted 100 kilos, possibly? With no squat rack I’ve been doing front squats and used to do hack squats before I got the sawhorses, so the only back squats I’ve done were occasionally really light ones for very high reps.

5x1: front squat 135 kg
2x20: military press 51 kg
3x12: pullup

1x3: deadlift 229 kg
1x3: deadlift 209 kg
3x10: db floor press 46 kg
3x10: curl 43 kg

3x11: front squat 101 kg
6x4: military press 75 kg
1x4, 5x3: pullup 22 kg

10x1: front squat 129 kg
2x20: military press 51 kg
3x12: pullup

1x6: deadlift 209 kg
1x10: deadlift 169 kg

Edit:
3x10: db floor press 46 kg
3x10: curl 43 kg

3x12: front squat 101 kg

9x1: front squat 131 kg
2x3: pullup 22 kg
2x12: pullup
6x4: military press 75 kg

Odd pullup set/rep scheme because before the third set, one of the straps on the backpack I’ve been using for pullups finally tore off.

1x3 1/2: deadlift 229 kg
1x3: deadlift 209 kg
3x10: db floor press 46 kg
3x10: curl 43 kg

5x1, 2, 3, 4 ladder: front squat 101 kg
3x12: pullup
6x4: military press 75 kg

Front squat sets done every minute for the first 4 ladders, every 30 seconds for the last. Bearable, even in hot weather and lifting with no AC, but that’s still 50 total reps in 18 minutes.

8x1: front squat 133 kg

Still hot, still no AC, at least I’m drinking room-temperature tea instead of hot.

2x12: deadlift 169 kg
3x10: db floor press 46 kg
3x10: curl 43 kg

13x4: front squat 101 kg (every minute)
3x12: pullup

Right forearm doesn’t like getting the bar into position for presses, not even with warmup weights, so I skipped those today.

7x1: front squat 135 kg
3x12: pullup
2x20: military press 51 kg

1x4: deadlift 219 kg
1x3: deadlift 209 kg
3x10: db floor press 46 kg
3x8: cheat curl 49 kg

Went heavier on the curls mostly so I don’t have to ever take the last 20 kg plates off my cheap 9 kilo bar. Saves time compared to doing that and putting little plates on for curls.

1x15: front squat 101 kg
1x10: front squat 89 kg
1x13: front squat 69 kg
3x12: pullup
6x4: military press 75 kg

Shorter rests between the squats this time, though still not a proper strip set.

6x1: front squat 137 kg
2x20: military press 51 kg
3x12: pullup

Sliced off some of the tip of my left thumb yesterday, but fortunately not an area which would be bothered by lifting.

1x3: deadlift 229 kg
1x3: deadlift 209 kg

8x4: front squat 109 kg

A set every minute, so all the work sets were over in seven minutes and change. The last three felt pretty hard. Seems more efficient than doing more than a dozen sets with 101 kg, though.

No upper body because of schedule lousiness, had to run across town to pick up a big box.

3x8: military press 69 kg
3x12: pullup
